Machine is quiet and efficient. Produces ice quickly. Simple operation.

I bought this for my wife for her office. She loves it. She likes to eat ice and says this is the prefect size and is soft enough to chew. She starts it up when she gets to work and by lunch there is plenty of ice. It does not keep the ice cold but any ice that melts just goes back into the reservoir to make more ice.

I bought this when my fridge ice maker went bad. It works fast and is quiet. The white and silver weren't available at the time I ordered so I went with the mint and the color is beautiful. I don't even know it is running except when I hear the ice drop. No more running to the store for ice. I'm very happy with this purchase so far.

really pleased with this portable icemaker with auto shut-off. It fits in my small space on the counter of the kitchen with the vent facing out to open areas. I usually use the smaller size cubes as they fit in my carry container so I have ice cold water when I travel. Thank you Best Buy Customer Service for helping me choose the size that was right for my space.

Really a nice appliance to replace or supplement fridge-freezer icemaker. Small, accessible, easy to operate, fast.

This item preformed better than expected. I am using the ice produced to provide cold compresses after shoulder surgery. It produces a constant stream of ice cubes, as long as you keep the unit filled with water. Ice cubes are dumped every 6 to 7 minutes until the ice basket fills. Cubes can block the electronic eye and stop the production of ice but pushing them away starts the machine again. This only happens when the basket is almost filled to capacity. The unit will operate for many hours on one water fill up but the ice tray will have to be emptied a number of times before the water reservoir drains completely and needs to be refilled. My unit is used indoors and not in direct sunlight. I can see how external temperature can have a big impact on ice production. Once the ice is dumped into the ice basket, it is subjected to the ambient temperature and can start to melt. The melted ice drains into the reservoir and gets reused again to make ice. I purchased this on 07 OCT 22 and so far am very pleased with it. So pleased that I filled out this requested review that I normal don't do. Check back in about 6 to 9 months. If it's still preforming then, like it is now, I'll add to this review. And if it's not, I'll definitely add to this review.

I love this machine! It's not too loud, works as advertised and made my summer drinks joyful. It fits on my kitchen table and does not take up a lot of space. I had to replace it after a few years of non stop use.i had the protection plan, went in and got the same model. My service was quick and easy!

This ice maker works great! on the small cube setting it makes 9 cubes every 5 minutes. Also, its compact and very quiet.

Does an excellent job making ice. Just be patient. Always use bottled water as the instructions say. I would never even think of using our disgusting city water in this thing. I saw some reviewer's complaints about mold build-up in the back of the unit on and behind the vertical metal bars that push the ice out. Never had a problem with mold yet (great to know about this however - thank you reviewers). Anyhow my wife has small fingers, so we put a small amount of dish soap on a damp cleaning rag and wipe down the fingers and behind them, then using a wet cloth to rinse and remove until there's no more soap. I guess if you constantly use this to make ice, the condensation buildup on these vertical bars and behind them could catch dirty air particles and cause mold. Also, I saw one person pose the question of how to prevent ice from clumping once you transfer to your freezer. The ice does start to immediately melt as the tray fills up and you will get a large clump of ice once it refreezes. Just agitate the ice either with your fingers or a wooden spoon every minute or so. This works for me.

Our ice maker in the freezer quit several years ago. Tired of always buying ice. First ice maker we bought we we're not happy with it. Once the ice cubes were made water continued to run over them. Water did not recirculate. That ice maker was returned. Went to Best Buy they had this one. Just what we we're looking for. Ice in a basket without water running over it and recirculating water. It's not loud either unlike our sons that he purchased many years ago. Very happy with purchase.

Makes great crunching ice at a good rate but ice begins melting almost immediately in the ice maker. I transfer the ice to a gallon sized freezer bag as soon as the tray is full. Then I put it directly into my freezer.

Love my new Ice maker. I never have enough room in my freezer to make ice. And buying ice gets expensive. The more you pay the less you get. I am pleased with the amount of ice that you can make in such a short time. And if you have to run an errand it will auto shut off and not over fill. It quieter that I expected and not buying new save me a lot of money. I love it!!!
