It is ok for light use, but the time to produce new batch of ice is a bit slow. Also, the consistency of the cubes is on the soft side, not very hard final product

Not as durable as I thought it would be and it’s hard to clean in the upper areas where the ice is made.

Makes ice fast but malted and the compartment is not cooled so the ice melts just a fast

Other than the fact thats its color is unique i would say that this ice maker rates lower than my previous two. The first one i had was made by Igloo and lasted almost two years. The next one was Hamilton Beach and that barely lasted a year. This icemaker makes ice fine but the clear plastic cover is its downfall as rhe ice melts because of the poor insulation and so you have half melted ice in the tray most of the time. The previous two ice makers had a bettet door with much smaller plastic windows.

It does the job, but the cubes come out wet, so when you put them in the freezer they stick together.

This was a gift for Christmas and it already broke the part that pushes the ice into the tray came off on one side

We purchased this unit in july 2020. It lasted just over a year and the died. It started making a strange noise and sounded like air releasing. The last time was almost a pop and then it no longer would freeze. For the cost of this unit, I would have expected it to last longer. I also used bottled water at first and had little mold build up. I switched to a filtered water and i had a ton of mold build up ever quickly. There is no way to clean some areas of this mold. It really worried me.

If your need ice for your drink this will do. Ice comes out fast but a bit small for my liking. For drinks it’s ok.

I wish the ice could stay there. You have to remove it and put in your freezer or it will melt. When I think of ice maker, I think of a my freezer ice maker, but that is far from this machine.

Ice maker is good when your normal refrigerator cant make enough ice when you have a get together.

Bought the ice maker for Christmas, broke four months later. Best Buy did an awesome job exchanging it out and we purchased the extended warranty in case it breaks again.

although, every 4 or 5 batches of ice taste like some kind of chemical. I threw the box away, and I drove quite far as I don't have a Best Buy in my neck of the woods. Now what do I do?

I bought this for my mom on May 10th and was delivered on May 14th. It was wonderful, quiet, made consistant ice until last week (July 9th) it started making all kinds of noise, but still made ice. Now as of July 17th it has just stopped making noise and ice all together. Just sits there with the "ice full" light on. Ive tried the whole unplug it, plug it back in routine, but nothing works. So if you want an ice maker that will last, this is NOT the one you want. I got 2 months out of it.

Wish it can make smaller pieces of ice but the quality of ice is pretty 6

This worked well for a bit, but stopped working just short of a year. Definitely recommend purchasing the warranty!! I was able to take it right in for an exchange.

It was a good little ice maker for the 18 months that it worked. I only used purified water in it and made sure to keep it cleaned. However, the ice started to get more and more deformed and barely made ice. I cleaned it again and it just stopped working. Cheaper to just buy another ice maker than taking it somewhere to get fixed. I thought I would get more use out of it than just 18 months, so I will try a different brand.

Worked good but a small piece of plastic inside kept braking

I was looking for a machine that produced smaller icecubes.

It was missing the piece to vent it out the window. We had yo buy a kit and duct tape it all together. I didn’t know refurbished meant it wouldn’t have all parts.
