My husband loves ice, and loves his ice machine. I get the best buy protection plan with this purchase. I have had to replace ours every year but I get a new protection plan with each new ice machine. Its plugged in 24/7 and also has to be cleaned out every so often or it gets slimy.

This little ice machine works great & is easy to set up. Best used with spring water & the ice tastes great. Makes ice fast then I transfer to ice box in the freezer.

Very pleasantly surprised with this little ice maker. I’m using it right now! Makes ice very quickly and keeps replenishing. So easy to use and it doesn’t take up much space on the countertop. Comes in so handy when we have guests. So glad I made this purchase.

The Insignia ice maker makes ice in a few minutes. 26 pounds in a day. It’s portable and has a small footprint. I just love it and I am so glad that I bought it especially now that the summer is here. I always have plenty of ice!

Our refrigerator has been out for several weeks awaiting a repair. We've been using our old refrigerator, which doesn't have an ice maker. Although we originally bought this portable ice maker for our RV, it has been a real blessing at home. It makes a good amount of ice quickly and shuts off when the ice bin is full. Im certain that this ice maker has paid for itself during the time we have owned it. It's been over a year now and we have not had a single problem with it.

Best decision to buying this Ice Maker. I can make a lot of ice in no time and it takes less than a couple minutes to have a full bag of ice and not have to wait minutes doing the old fashion way of waiting in the freezer.

Works great. Ice lasts a decent amount of time on the large setting. My husband complains that it's loud and scares him. But that's because of it dropping into the basket, as he can sleep through the sound with no problems.

I've had a couple of these. We run it about every 2-3 days. It provides a lot of ice (bullet ones that are not see-through). When lifting the basket to remove the ice, be sure to use both hands as the ice is heavy so the basket will snap on the side handle. Also, these usually last me a little over a year so I'd suggest getting the geek squad protection. it is worth it. It's a great machine if you buy the protection. Also, I HATE the plug on the bottom to remove the excess water. it hurts my hands to pull that plug out. That should be revamped for sure. No problem with replacing it though since I had protection. It kept saying "add water" when there was already water in it. Got a new one the same day.

This Ice maker is a worker. It delivers at will as long as there is room in the basket and water is kept at reasonable level you will always have ice. It is really that simple. The price in my opinion is cheap.

Fast ( ice in 16 minutes), compact, and doesn't take up much counter space, this keeps us ready for those cold drinks in this very hot weather when the ice maker on the Fridge just can't keep up. I highly recommend it.

Fits nicely on kitchen counter under our cabinets. Produces ice in a short time, readily available when needed.

Very easy to use, and the ice that comes out tastes really good. Better than expected. The only drawback is that is only makes 9 cubes at a time, but if you know you have people coming over, just set it up early and it will make plenty before guests arrive.

I've nothing but good things to say about this piece. Quick to produce ice, quiet, and a good value as well. Insignia is the best buy house brand, and I've also purchased an Insignia refrigerator. Both items work well, and look pretty good besides.

Better than I expected. It's very quiet and makes more than enough ice for our needs. I would recommend this item and have had several friends ask where I got it.

This little ice maker is a gem. We bought it to use in our motorhome so it needed to be fairly small. Fits our space nicely and really cranks out the ice cubes. The cubes need to be gathered and put in the freezer for storage but it sure beats ice cube trays or buying big bulky bags of ice. We are pleased with this purchase.

I got this on sale for $95. Start it up for 20-30 minutes, and you will have a glass of ice. It starts kicking ice out pretty quick after that. It makes the small-medium hollow cylindrical ice cubes. I haven't had visitors over to see how well it would keep up, but I'd estimate that it would keep ice for 5-10 people at a low-moderate rate. The basket is smallish though, so that might not be the case if the freezing element shuts off when it gets full. It does extremely well for one person for 2-3 20 oz glasses a day (only have it on for 1-2 hours per).
