    This ice maker is terrible do not buy. Worked for about a week before it stopped making ice. Also gave the ice a metallic taste. No self clean function either.

    I really liked the ice maker. It worked well when I first got it, but it just stopped working. Luckily I have the best buy membership, so they said I can get my money back in store credit. Its kind of a bummer that this machine worked less than 10 times and broke.

    Purchased in June, worked great. Broke in September. It started making a very loud (more than usual) noise and then the ice full indicator light came on when there was very little ice made and it will not reset to start making ice again. The owners manual "troubleshooting" advice for when the light comes on? "Remove ice from the bin." Sorry - that is normal use, not troubleshooting. There is no info on how to reset or fix this problem. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

    Sadly it stopped working a little after a year and the warranty was over. It was good while it lasted but it stopped making ice and it was over heating.

    We loved this ice maker until it stopped working. The lever that turned the ice came loose on one side about a week ago. It was annoying but it still made ice. Now it says add water although the machine is full. It no linger makes ice. We have had the ice maker almost seven months. I have been pleased with most Insignia products we have purchased, but not this ice maker.

    Bought this because my fridge ice maker broke. But I takes way too long to make ice like over 5 min for very little ice. Would need like 3 load for one cup full.

    Worked for a couple of years and went kaput no way to fix and warranty expired at the 2yr mark .

    We have been running this machine for 5 days straight and the ice still tastes like plastic. We have had other machines not as expensive and 24 hours it was good.

    Save your money. This ice maker will work for just long enough for the warranty to expire. Same issues as many gate just keeps cycling. Called company and stated that they will not cover as it has been 20 days past the one year proof of purchase.

    Don’t buy this horrible product doesn’t work correctly and stopped working in less then thirty days.Best Buy has the worse return policy out there you have less then 15 days to return something most places offer thirty days to 90 days be warned

    Good ice machine but you cannot clean it. It doesn’t come apart and you can’t get to the hard to reach places.
