The ice maker in my fridge broke so i bought thus as a workaround. It enddd up bejng better and i love ths size of thd ice. So we make the ice on the maker and empyy it intk thd frudge dispenser. Ag geg togethers, it makes ice so fast thag ig keeps up with our usage.

I'm in love with this ice maker! I had another one before from a different company, but it quickly wore out -- we love ice in pretty much everything. This one is even better -- more compact, the ice is clear and tastes great.

Works much faster that I had hoped. Had enough ice to mix my first drink in under 10 minutes! I was hoping to use my Power pack (Jackery Explorer 500 Portable Power Station) to make some ice for a quick drink without firing up the generator in my RV, but it would trip the breaker. Although there was enough capacity in the battery, it didn't have the power for the initial start up of the ice maker. Although I could make enough ice while the generator was running for the day. Bought it when if was "Deal of the Day" so was a great price. Although it would be a find even at the regular price.

Love love love this so much! Not too big, but makes enough ice so I never run out!

We have a small freezer and lets be honest its a hassle to make ice with the trays so this ice maker is perfect. It makes enough ice to fill up 3 quart size freezer bags to store in the freezer. Cubes start off small when first using it but get to the ideal size by the third time. It works for us. I like it stops making ice when the water is low and when it is full. It does not keep ice cold so once it is done making it you have to use it or store it which is not a problem for us.

this little maker is quick and quiet. My ice maker is on strike- this was my decision of replacement! Excellent

This thing is fantastic! We do a lot of camping and having plenty of ice is always a concern. This little machine makes plenty of ice for drinks and to keep our small cooler supplied. Highly recommend using distilled water for best ice.

A little before my wife's first knee surgery, in February last year, we bought it to access more ice. Boy !, we have been super happy with the performance this machine has done. Lots of ice. 4 stars because a year and a half to stop working. Insignia offers a one-year warranty, exactly when the machine could start to get into trouble. It seems to me a year is just time, what is not good is that Insignia seems not to care about producing a machine with a solid time-use-life. We all know that it can be done, because in the past manufacturing was made to last a long time. We are at this very moment buying another ice machine with another brand, to try and see.

This little baby does everything that it claims to do. We have been using it practically everyday since the purchase date and we have had no issues. We tend to use filtered water to help cut down on possible mineral build up, clean it weekly, and that's about it. It produces a great bit of ice if you keep it plugged up and it recycles water throughout the day (so if you leave the ice to melt, it just continues to make cubes with the same water) if we're not using enough ice -- which is fine. It's really pushed us all to drink more water, even if that means just chomping on ice cubes lol. Great product, highly recommend it!

Much quieter and makes better ice than the 26 lb. Really great ice maker. I have 1 at home and 1 at work. Routinely goes on sale.

We keep it running all day to fill up an ice bucket in our fridge- its been such a game changer having ice all the time, I love making ice cold drinks on hot summer days! It would be nice if it had an app or some kind of timer system to turn it off or know when its full, but its a great deal for the price!

Awesome purchase, makes 2 sizes of ice, super fast and will come in handy if we get a hurricne and dont have power.. I can use this powered by my battery banks or generator…. COLD DRINKS !!!!! YES!!!
