Man, this printer started out great printed quickly. I purchased this in November. I wanted a better printer but at that time there were very few options - printers were at a minimum. I hooked it up and it printed nicely. Then I ran my first newsletter on it. Yahoo, I thought "it prints quickly". Well, 4 months later I am printing a smaller newsletter and it is taking 2 1/2 minutes per page. What the heck? This newsletter has fewer graphics than the first one. It has been gradually getting slower but today is ridiculous. It's a 3 page newsletter (well, print on both sides). I started 5 hours ago and I'm not even half way done. And the number of copies I'm printing is less than 60. And I'm on the quicker print (draft) mode. Yikes! I should have held out for the one I wanted...

      Hi, Brook.

Thanks for the review and the feedback. While I’m glad your printer worked well when you got it last fall, I’m sorry to hear that its print speed has declined so much. I can easily understand why that would be an unwelcome surprise, especially in the context of producing newsletters that you describe. I want to help you remedy this problem, so I hope you’ll use the resources below to make that happen.

First, I recommend that you follow a guide on our support site that covers improving print speed; choose whichever of the following two links matches your operating system:
      - Windows: support.hp.com/us-en/document/bud03409
      - Mac OS: support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01928898

Also, updating the firmware can often help improve print speed and other performance. You can find out how to do that here:
      - support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02919168

If the print-speed problem persists, I recommend that you contact us directly so we can help you assess what’s happening and find the best course of action. HP+ printers such as yours come with exclusive concierge support. To call and reach live HP+ experts, visit the following URL and enter your HP+ serial number:
      - hp.com/plus-help

I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies – and that warranty extends to two years with an HP+ account – so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link:
      - support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty

Using this printer for a home office. Works great! Easy to setup, fast printing (color or black and white). It can scan directly to a network share and that is SUPER useful! I have it setup on the network and it is easy to access and doesn't go off line and get lost like I've had happen with my previous printer.

    Paper jams continuously

Easy to set up. Paper tray is terrible: when I take it out to reload paper it changes from letter size to legal size. And it pulls several sheets of paper into printer at same time which causes paper jam. Not easy to open printer to remove jam. Areas that can be opened should be marked because I wasn’t sure how to open printer. I am not very happy with my purchase.

      Hi, Sue.

I'm sorry to hear that your printer’s feeder and paper tray have not performed like they should. I can understand how the issues you describe would quickly become frustrating, so I’ll offer some information and resources that I hope will help.

First, I recommend you follow the steps in this guide to document feeders that pull through too many pages at once or fail to pick up paper at all:
      - support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01728503

Regarding diagrams of your printer, you can find user manuals as well as how-to documents, video tutorials, troubleshooting guides and software updates for your printer here:
      - support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-officejet-pro-9010-all-in-one-printer-series/23903057/model/24208582

If either problem persists, I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can guide you through the proper troubleshooting and help you resolve this issue. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:

      - Model number
      - Serial number
      - Your location
      - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)

This is my 3rd HP printer and I am so disappointed in the quality and ink usage. It is flimsy, I printed a 33 page 2 color (black and yellow). The yellow ink is half full and the black 3/4 full. This is suppose to be a printer that the ink is to last longer than most printers.

This printer is exactly what we were looking for with our new teaching and working from home processes. The fact that it can scan and I can choose color or black and white are great. And the fact that it's wireless has been priceless. It can be a bit loud but nothing terrible. Overall we're very happy with the product and the price.
