The print results so far have been crisp and clear, though I have yet to test the photo feature. My only criticism is that whoever designed the unit forgot to include an "off" switch so it has to be unplugged when not in use because the light which indicates that it is "on" burns continuously and lights up a darkened room making it somewhat difficult to sleep (my computer and printer reside in my bedroom). Also, the light that indicates the wi-fi connection blinks when the wi-fi is turned off (apparently the designer did not anticipate that you would ever turn it off). And I discovered after setting it up that it is only compatible with Windows 10 even though HP says there are drivers for Windows 7.

Value added all in one wireless printer

The print quality is excellent and the scan function is very good. It easily bests the older dedicated Canon scanner I used for 8 years in terms of speed. I have not tried printing photos or scanning photographs. For the price this is a no brainer.

The quality is actually pretty good, but other than that I find myself having to wait sometimes 10 minutes just for it to print a bunch of names and their phone numbers. I'd recommend spending the extra money so it doesn't waste your time!

Thanks for the review and the description of your experience so far. While I’m glad you like your printer’s print quality, I’m sorry the device has rendered prints so slowly. It’s easy to see why waiting 10 minutes for a list of names and phone numbers to finish would quickly become exasperating. I want to help you remedy this problem, so I’ll suggest some measures I hope will reach that goal.
First, I recommend that you follow a guide on our support site that covers improving print speed; choose whichever of the following two links matches your operating system:

Good for Routine Printing

It is on the noisy side but I can live with that. I wanted a good basis printer and this serves the purpose. Recommend if you just want a printer to do occasional jobs. I had a bit of a problem changing one of the ink cartridges so hope that is not a recurring issue or I will return the printer.

SOOO incredibly tired of not being able to connect my printer with the printer. SOOO tired off being told to go to 123.hp.com (or whatever) to connect my printer. I've owned this $100 white plastic box for almost a year and have managed to get a half dozen things printed on it. Thanks HP.
