Complicated set up

I have not used any other features yet besides printing. It took a few weeks to get it set up and online with my internet and computer. I wish it had come with a detailed manual to help me through the set up process.

GOOD PRINTER SO FAR

Had some trouble in the beginning. HP support said it was set up wrong, but they fixed it and it seems to be working well now. I liked the screen on the front of our prior Envy printer. It would give you instructions, inform you of errors, etc. I do miss that. This printer seems simpler. It does seem faster than our older Envy printer, though, so only time will tell, but so far it seems like a good printer.

"Wireless" printing is awful

I was told by HP technical support that I need to update my chromebook every time i want to use the printer. And I had to install some extension app from the google play store. Every tech gets my document to print using different instructions. THEN maybe it will print, or not. Every time I want to print something I figure to expect at leastvtwo calls to tech support and a couple of transfer between departments. GRRRR.

HP Envy 6455 Printer

The setup can be troublesome, so I'm happy I had a TotalTech membership. A capable Geek Squad person came to the house and set up the printer for me. I'm very satisfied with my purchase so far.
