It is lightweight and truly portable. Battery life has been two full 7 hour days of teaching. Saw this at B B for 200.00 off and had gift card of 200.00. Screen is bright and impressive in spite of some bad reviews on brightness. Oh yes, the cloth cover is an added touch of class. A great laptop.

Good Budget Laptop

Form factor is small and comfortable. Nice color blue which is only really noticeable in well lit areas. Can flip into a tablet when needed. Nice, premium feeling fabric on top of it which to some may be a let down but to me its what makes this unique and has a good feel to it and my mother loves that. Battery life is great and so is the display. Speakers are alright but that's not a huge factor for me. Its good for typical daily tasks like checking emails, surfing the web, watching videos on, etc. I wouldn't expect this to be great in gaming or any intense processing tasks but that's expected out of a laptop like this.

This computer met the minimum requirements for my engineering program, and so far it has shown no slowdowns running Matlab, Multisim, and AutoCad with like 50 tabs open in chrome. Doesn't get that bright, doesn't always recognize that the lid is closed and go to sleep, but it's light and sleek and I love it.

If you are getting less than expected screen brightness, be sure that auto/adaptive brightness is turned off, then manually adjust the screen brightness to your personal preference. Regarding the computer not going into Sleep Mode when you close the lid, check your settings for what you have your computer set to do when you close the lid: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/69762-how-change-default-lid-close-action-windows-10-a.html. Works great seems fast for what it is and does everything that we need it to. This is being used mainly for school work. It does get a bit warm to the touch, but this does not seem to be having any impact on the use or performance of the laptop.

You can use Lenovo Smart Power to manually control fan and system performance: ( Fn + Q ) option to change the fan by undervolting the processor. Performance wise this will be great for most of the people unless you plan on doing serious video editing. Ryzen 5500 is a great processor and has ample power and cores to power most use case.

I like it coz it provides me all I need. It has touch screen and also lightweight so I can carry around. The only thing I would prefer is the metal finish but with this price, its a deal. Overall, its a good purchase for me.
