    Ring cameras are very easy to install. The only thing is, you need to install it in the right place where there's an outlet or a junction box or, have electric run to the desired area if you do not have service in that particular area of the house.

    If you have existing flood lights, this Ring floodlight is very easy to install. We like the idea that they are wired in, no more charging batteries that just don't last as long as specified. We have not problems with viewing on our phones...Android and iPhone apps are easy to use.

    I wish I could rate it 4.5 stars. this is the second flood light from ring that I own. the first one is the older gen and sits above the garage, this newer one I have in the backyard that monitors the swimming pool. motion detection works pretty good just like the first gen, but just like the first gen, no matter how I adjust the lighting features it goes off at random times with little to no motion detected. Being that my bedroom window faces the backyard I can see the light shining on and off most of the night. other than that, it does work well.
