We had tot week it a few times to get it exactly where we wanted the light to shine, but that wasn't a big issue. Most adjustments are made on the app.

I am receiving message that it is off line, if using the same wifi press the reset button on top of camera. Well if camera is mounted high it is very hard to keep pressing a reset button every time you have to try to get it to work. Since this is suppose to me my eyes and ears to my property when not home it is unreliable. When it does work it is fine but very disappointed since only having used it for 2 months. Also the cameras can be of better quality you are mounting on you house that is at least 9 to 10 feet high and when you start to zoom in the picture will not be so clear so unless you know the person it will be hard to make out some images.

One of the most important measurements in your Ring security network is the strength of your wifi signal. You may run a special connectivity test at any time to see if a bad wifi connection is responsible for problems with your device. We have included step by step instructions below:
-Open Ring app
-Hamburger Menu/ 3 Lines
-Select Devices
-Select a Ring device
-Select Device Health
-Select "Test your Wifi" under the Tools Section
-Tap "Start test
-Once the test is done, Enter your Results from the Speed test
Sometimes, even with high internet speeds, the connection is not as strong at the location of the Ring device.

It does work very well, in spite of my learning curve. I also have the RING video doorbell and Chime.

Not a flaw with the camera, just in my perception of the distance. I am installing another, so that should cover the entire area better. It does work as advertised and I like the customization you can do with features/settings.

We recommend adding a Ring Chime Pro to your network. The Ring Chime Pro simply plugs into a wall outlet between your router and the Ring Floodlight Cam Pro to assist with the wifi signal strength to the device.

Better than the last version

Way more features on the pro than the plus which I definitely like. The only downside is it a tad slower to send alerts than the plus.

I have a good mix of powered and battery and when possible, go with the power. The clarity of the cameras is as good as any TV show.

That’s all I could hope for, so everything else is just a bonus. I went back online and bought two more within three days, I’m replacing all my traditional floodlights
