I would be happy to address your concern regarding the issue that you are experiencing with the motion detection of your Ring Floodlight Cam Pro. Accuracy in motion detection can also be improved by enabling Smart Alerts for people only in your Ring app. To enable Smart Alerts:

Tap the menu (≡) on the top left.
Tap Devices.
Tap the device that you want to adjust.
Tap Motion Settings.
Tap Smart Alerts.
Tap Enable Feature.
Tap Continue.
Select the notification options that you want for Person and Other Motion.
You'll see a video camera where you can select or de-select recording and a bell icon to represent alert notifications.
After you've adjusted your settings tap Done.

It sounds like the device is not performing as expected. We are happy to share some tips with you for troubleshooting why your Ring device may be experiencing issues with video quality. If your phone or tablet has poor service or internet, it could be affecting "Live View" or your video downloads. Try turning Bluetooth off, then open "Live View" or view a recorded Ring video. Poor wifi can often cause Ring device issues, including video quality. We recommend following these steps in the Ring app: Tap the top menu (☰), then "Devices." Choose your device. Tap the "Device Settings" tile. Tap "Device Health." Under the "Network" section, you'll see your device's "Signal Strength." If your "Signal Strength" (RSSI) is amber or red, your Ring device likely has a poor connection to your location's wifi. Reboot your Ring doorbell or camera by following these steps: Open the Ring app. Tap the top menu (☰), then "Devices." Choose your device. Tap the "Device Settings" tile. Tap "Device Health." Scroll down and tap "Reboot This Device." Wait a few minutes for your device to reboot.

It sounds like the device is not performing as expected. Ring Floodlight Cam Pro is an outdoor security camera designed to provide you with the ability to customize your camera's zone coverage, motion settings and light settings in the Ring app. The Ring Floodlight Cam Pro has two 3000° Kelvin lights with an output of 2000 lumens and an in-app brightness adjustment slider. To adjust the brightness of your lights, please follow these steps in the Ring app: Open the Ring app. Tap the menu (☰). Tap Devices. Select the camera that you want to adjust. Select Device Settings. Select Light Settings. Select Light Brightness and adjust the slider to make the lights brighter or dimmer.
