    Defective unit after four months

    Entire unit stopped working after 4.5 months. Called Ring and they offered to replace it at no charge. Makes one wonder if the quality is still there, after so many rave reviews. Also, you’ll need to pay $3.99 per month to see videos, with the exception of live view. Just so you know. We’ll see if the new unit lasts longer. Hope so. I’ll have to pay an electrician to install, so there’s no costs savings here. Bummer.

    I got the wrong thing sent to me that’s why I couldn’t give it 3 stars but I have a lot of ring Products in and a round my house and inside too but I will be ordering more I do believe this company is very reliable

    Camera works great but the light sensor is hyper and turns on with just a bug flying by. I tried different settings but got the same results. I turned off the lights and am only using the camera.

    Not one of the best Ring devices I own. very little options for lights and also problems getting lights to turn off. contacted support but their suggestions didnt work

    Our camera is only three months old and having problems. The video started having lines and distorted. I have had to remove the camera and reinstall 2 to clear up video. Now the audio has a lot static in it.

    Camera quality is great however it stopped working 6 months after i purchased the camera simply would not connect to the wifi anymore even after connecting a wifi extender nearby

The features and technology provided by the Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro are incredibly valuable and help provide you with peace of mind about your home security. We can definitely provide you with more information regarding the concern mentioned in your review.

      It sounds like your device is not performing to your expectations. Floodlight Cam Wired Pro has "Advanced Motion Detection," "Customizable Motion Zones" and "Customizable Privacy Zones" that are controlled from the Ring app. In addition, the Floodlight Cam Wired Pro has advanced features including radar-powered "3D Motion Detection," "Bird’s Eye View" for more precise motion alerts, "Audio+," a 110db security siren, dual-band wifi, is compatible with Amazon Sidewalk and an array microphone that limits sound detection.

      There are several reasons that your device may be offline. We have listed some here:
      There could be an internet service disruption in your area.
      Your wifi network name changed or your wifi network password has changed.
      You switched from a 2.4 GHz (2G) to a 5 GHz (5G) wifi network and your Ring device is not compatible with 5 GHz. Try re-enabling the 2.4 GHz network—all Ring doorbells and security cameras are compatible with 2.4 GHz networks.
      Physical obstructions between your Ring device and wifi router, such as large metal appliances, multiple walls, heavy furniture, or concrete, stone, or other dense building materials.
      A blown fuse, power outage, or loss of backup power to the device or router.
      If you have a Floodlight Cam that is connected to a light switch or a timer, make sure the switch is set to “on” or the timer is working so the camera receives power.

      To reconnect your Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro to your wifi network:

      Open the Ring app.
      Tap the menu (≡).
      Tap "Devices" and select the doorbell or camera you'd like to reconnect to wifi.
      Tap the "Device Health" tile.
      Under "Network," tap "Change Network" and follow the prompts in the app.
      Allow some time for your device to fully reconnect to the network, then check your wifi signal strength in "Device Health" to confirm it has successfully reconnected.

We would like to provide you with solutions to the concerns you are experiencing today!

      It sounds like your device is not performing as expected. Poor video quality and delayed notifications can be caused by slow wifi speeds or a poor wifi connection. We recommend running a speed test to ensure your wifi speeds meet the minimum requirements.

      To test your wifi seeds, turn off your mobile phone’s cellular data and connect to the same wifi network as your Ring device.
      Open the Ring app.
      Tap the menu (☰).
      Tap Devices.
      Select your device.
      Tap Device Health.
      Under Tools, tap Test Your Wifi.
      Tap Start to run a test that will measure your upload and download speeds.
      Both upload and download speeds should be at least 1 Mbps or greater, but 2 Mbps or above is ideal.
      Check the numbers on your wifi speed test. If either your upload or download speed is below 1 Mbps, then you might consider replacing your router (especially if it's older than five years). Contact your internet service provider to learn more about getting newer equipment and faster speeds.

    Set up literature bad.

    Very difficult to get ahold of the ring help desk and the code on the literature that is required during the set up is too small to read with phone camera.
