I bought a switch lite ( and two more right after) to have a distraction. To play Animal Crossing! Everybody in my family has one of their own. Hours of fun. Easy to use, for users of many age groups.

Love it but also love my switch oled even more however one thing the portability alone and no worries of joy cons is priceless and the battery is better in all honesty from my experience

Such a great system! My partner has the Original switch. I am glad I went with the lite. When compared to the original, I think it feels much better in the heads when using hand held mode. Still prefer some games on the big screen... but overall great!

This is a great handheld version of the Switch system. I love that it's light and and perfect for playing anywhere. If you're prone to losing to gravity like me then you'll want to get a screen protector.

Great option for my grandkids, they love it. It has been great for older kids, now going to get one for younger grandson

He wanted a full console, but they’ve been in such high demand lately this is what I could find. The lite version is still great. When he’s not playing animal crossing he’s watching YouTube videos. It’s almost entirely replaced his smart phone for entertainment.

We have multiple people in our house who love playing switch games. Although we have a regular Switch, everyone wants to have their own so I think the Switch Lite is a better value for kids who will want to play on their own rather than on a TV.

bought this for my 4year old as the 8 year old had one and they where constantly fighting. he loves it. this is the light version and thus it is smaller, has less memory and does not dock to show on the TV. still great and perfect for traveling or just normal use.

Kids love it. Battery life is shorten to limit game time. Thumbsticks will be the first thing to break

My grandson loves it… I bought him the regular switch a few years ago but with the detachable controller he ended up losing then breaking them… this one piece setup is perfect for him.

Great gift for young kids as the device isn't that expensive and the material of the device will hold up to any beating. Although you will be giving up the switch dock, it something one can give up for.

I bought this for my grandmother so she could play animal crossing with us. She adores the color, it’s easy to hold and operate. It’s been working out really well

Won’t lie primary use right now is for animal crossing ! But this is a great system much lighter than the original switch, wife plays that at home so grabbed this to take on the road. Do wish it had rumble but it doesn’t, colors pop on it and no issues so far!

My son was very happy with his Switch lite. My son has Down Syndrome and sometimes struggles with video games and the controls. I also purchased the carrying case and accessories, and they made it much easier for him to navigate the game controls

I love the switch lite, it’s the perfect size and is easy to play different games on. The only thing is that the battery doesn’t last more than a couple of hours of play unless you completely turn it off every time you put it down for a bit. Otherwise it’s great!

I love the convenience of the Nintendo Switch Lite! I take it everywhere. I purchased a case and car charger as well so I am all set. Many games to choose from but I especially enjoy Animal Crossings. My friends and I play together. It is a great way of bonding!

The Nintendo switch lite is a great investment. It is perfect for fun on the go. My four year old and 7 year old enjoy their switches. Best Buy delivers every time.

As someone who uses their Switch primarily in handheld mode, I find the Switch lite to be much more comfortable, and practical to use as a portable/handheld console than the original model... While the screen is the same 720p resolution, the smaller 5.5" display actually makes games look a bit crisper due to the higher pixel density... Not being able to dock the console for TV play is a drawback, but only a slight one for me, as TV/docked mode was a feature I only used occasionally. So far, the controls have been very responsive, and I prefer the mushy feel of the D-Pad and face buttons on the lite, over the hard/clicky buttons on the Joy-cons; hopefully, I won't have problems with the analog sticks in the future, like some have reported on their original joy-cons, because everything is integrated in the system and cannot be easily swapped out.... As an aside; I really hope Nintendo brings that "flip cover" case to the US/NA, as it would significantly increase the portability.

While we read about this console's limitations for casting and multi-player games, this is our son's first console. Like to see if it catches on before spending much more on a better system. So far, we were wise!
