I did not have an Alexa home base prior. I am so glad I have one now. I use it while cooking for recipes music or do to check my ring cameras. I also use this as my pet camera. You can talk through the two way speaker. I would definitely had purchased this has I known what was missing !

Good Display For The Desk

Mainly to keep tabs on dates from my Google Calendar while a having a display that reminds me of the time and weather. Bought during a sale and it’s just a cheeky decoration on my desk. You can customized how you want to use the device. Mainly it’s just sending me reminders. But great for assisting you to shop, ask questions or an alternative Bluetooth speaker.

Cool touch screen...BAD Sound

You can watch brief clips of the news etc, or play games with Alexa like Trivia Battle an awesome game, easy to pick your answer on the screen without asking for alexa, Do not recommend if you have had a recent Alexa or echo etc. The sould is really bad. Really Bad. and it doesn't pick up on your voice as the regular Alexa. So another in the house somewhere will answer! Best to keep on the counter next to stove for recipes etc. Luckily I got mine for $10 at Christmas, it was a promo.

Not only can the alarms on it be customized to play literally anything but I can call my kids on it at any time. I can also use the video feature to check in on my pets.
