I bought one of these for myself, and immediately got one for my BFF. We love video conferencing!

only complaint is the screen minimizes camera view to the corner when you tell it to go to home screen where the last model would dismiss the camera view all together.

Good clear display and response speed. Bought this to keep in touch with my puppy while I was away. Unfortunately, my puppy does not respond to my video call but would rather see me in person. However, because I got it at a really good sale price from Best Buy, I decided to keep it and will use it to keep in touch with my grandchildren.

I love all my echo’s but this was the first disappointment. Glitchy, never heard me even though the ones in the other room would respond instead. Not sure if I just got a bad one or this specific gen sucked. Oh well, I’ll keep buying Amazon brand because other than this it’s been very reliable and great. 2 star only because I think I got a defective one, otherwise it would be a 0

I bought this for my cousins in Mexico and they love this device. They like how easy it is to use and the size makes it perfect to place on the nightstand. The sound is good as well as the video quality. It is a shame that this wasn't as popular as it could have been because it works well and then some :). It is a perfect stocking stuffer.

This is the perfect alarm clock. It is very customizable to fit your needs, and the routines really help you get the most out of it. I like that you can customize the brightness (and color - to red) at night so that it is not so bright when you are trying to sleep. There is definitely a learning curve, but once you have it down, it is very useful. Sound quality is pretty good as well.

We bought this foe our mother and ahe haa loved video chatting with us. It was easy to pair with the videos doorbell.

This is wonderful to have when you're watching the monitor to see who's coming in going.

We have the Echo 10 and the Echo 8 - bought this 5 for my dad who was in a skilled nursing facility across the country and was miserable. He had the 10 at home and kept telling us he missed it. It was great because he used it all of the time to play music and sometimes watched a movie. Also great for us to be able to see him and interact with his care givers. If you are only going to have one device-definitely get at least the 8 - but this is a great extra one. We plan to put it in the bedroom when he gets home and leave the 10 in the living room.
