Works really well. We have it set up to turn our tv on and off. I love the feature that lets you save multiple pictures for a screensaver.

Easy to use and for the price I paid(35) I should have bought more because I tend to move it from room to garage too often.i use it for music and to connect with my son I can watch and talk to him,

Purchased for my son - who said he'd never use something like this - now checks in on his dog daily! Guess mom knows best! LOL

I bought this for my 70-something mother, in conjunction with the new Blink doorbell. My mom cannot see who is at her front door without opening said door, so I was looking for a solution. These 2 items, in tandem, are perfect. Someone rings her doorbell, the Show 5 shows her the video feed from the front door. If someone knocks, she can ask Alexa to show the front door camera. Additionally, she can (and does) use it to make video calls, to play music, and as a "virtual photo album" rotating through pics of her grandchildren. Highly recommend.

Easier to communicate with them! My parents were not tech savvy and now they now how to navigate to keep in touch

We had friends that have the 1st generation of this same Echo and we were impressed. I assumed this one would be the same; however, at least to me it seems the speaker is not as good, even though it is advertised as upgraded. We don't use it a lot, but I do notice that when listening to the radio with it, it won't "stop". And it has started not paying attention unless I stand in front and yell at it. Very small house here so no need to yell at all and I didn't used to have to yell. Not sure what is going on. There may be an easy fix. I did unplug it and then replugged it, but that didn't seem to change anything other than to turn off the radio. I've read other complaints that are the same. Overall, it is okay for the price I paid. It is a good "starter" Alexa

Very nice echo show and useful to see my home cameras view with a command. Very nice for viewing youtube or other videos quickly.

Very nice gadget to have, when you are cooking and you need to set a timer or two. Nice for seeing outside your house with a Doorbell RING.

This is a great device to interact with for both adults and children. With it I turn several things in my house on and off and my kids love interacting with it.

Love it...the camera feature is great. I have it in my TV room and I am able to see my mother throughout the day. She is enjoying the ability to give it commands in Spanish.

My daughter absolutely loves the Amazon Echo Show 5! She uses it for everything from talking to her friends, clock functions, and taking pics! It's pretty cool!
