No doubt the cords get in the way and somehow I seem to trip over them. This makes my 3rd cordless. My initial reaction was that it is heavy. However when I put it together (very easy to snap together), the balance was perfect so it didn’t feel heavy to operate. My one and only complaint, it is noisy! It sounds like a jet airplane. Okay so that’s an exaggeration, but it is noisier than others. That being said, I believe it is more powerful. It has two settings, the higher setting engages a beater bar. That is where the noise is. When you convert to handheld, it is very quiet. Mine came with three attachments, crevice and two Upholstry type attachments. I have a dog and cat who both go in and out but refuse to wipe their feet! The Shark Pet Plus did a great job of picking up the hair and dirt. In minutes the two areas I vacuumed looked better and my canister was full of dirt, hair and dander. I could easily see where I had cleaned. I like to see vacuum patterns in my carpet cause I know the vacuum got down in the fibers. It does vacuum both tile/wood floors as well as carpet and upholstry. I really like the fact that the canister will attach to the lower part of the base for storage. My others have to be stored separately, taking up more space. There is no onboard storage for the attachments however. Be sure to charge fully before use. I haven’t used it long enough to tell if the battery will hold up through a whole house cleaning, but I am very pleased with how it operated. I think this will be a very nice addition to my corded vac, also a Shark, I might add. They know how to build vacuums. I highly recommend this one!

Not worth it

Other than that, I wouldn’t recommend it. Battery is sub par. It’s easily clogged by anything that not fine dirt. You need to clean it after each use. The brush that is designed for pet hair easily gets damaged and becomes more or less useless.

It was to replace a Dyson Stick vacuum. I would not recommend this to anyone. The suction is horrible. And after a little more than a month of use it frequently dies after 5 minutes of usage.
