Paper jam

It's fast and doesn't ever fail to wake up remotely even after I haven't used it in a month. My only problem though is a giant one.. It has paper jams all the time, probably every 6th or 7th time I use it. To make things worse, when you clear the paper jam it knocks the print head out of alignment and you spend the next 20 minutes recalibrating it. I use quality printer paper from staples and fan it before I put it on the tray. I've tried putting just a few sheets as well as filling it up. Nothing seems to matter, it just jams. If I had to do it over I would skip this printer.

Terrible for document fed scanning ok for printing

They have none so I am forced to buy this model. Within 20-25 pages of scanning the document feeder fails. It only pulls the document about halfway through before getting jammed. I search online and can find no solutions. The online guide for the model offers no additional help. I reach out to Epson customer support with the problem. They provide boilerplate type solutions - none of which work. I uninstall the drivers and reinstall. No help. I had a replacement warranty plan so I returned the printer/scanner. The new one makes it about 10-12 pages before it begins doing the same thing. If you need a scanner/printer combination and want the document feeder scanner to work, do not buy this unit. I should have just gone on eBay and bought a used color printer scanner combination from HP, Canon, or Lexmark. Horrible.
