this is a very nice streamlined watch. pros: the watch band is nice cons: the charging device makes it difficult to set on its side without getting out of line with the chargers, the tap screen to see the screen requires an aggressive tap, almost pounding, turning, or stopping the alarm when it goes off is difficult because the stop mode is half-revealed and is difficult to turn off. I have the Charge 2 and it still operates I do like operational use of that watch, but I don't like the charging device of that watch. the charging device on the Versa 3 is useable and should be considered for the Charge 6 watch where the cord comes out the side of the charger rather than under or in alignment with the wrist band. otherwise I like the watch.

Replaced a Charge 3 with this Charge 5. Major upgrade. Love the color display and the ease of going from screen to screen. The payment function has been useful. The band design is much better, much more comfortable.

I had only had this watch one week when it froze and I had to restart it many times to finally get it to download the information. I had read that this is a problem with the watch. I did buy insurance on it in case it freezes again. Otherwise, I love the display, and all the features about it.

Bought this as a gift for my wife as an upgrade to Charge 3. Color screen is a big plus. She really likes the SPO2 feature. This feature seems to stop working when battery dips below 50%. A little odd but battery life is quite good so not a big deal.

I really liked this Fitbit until 10 days ago when it stopped working essentially on the 1 year anniversary of when I bought it. Seems like a battery issue. At first stopped tracking steps, heart rate, calories, etc, but then progressed to not being able to hold a charge.

bought this for a family member and it is easy to use. the app is bit complicated and the options/features for the display are limited unless you go premium with Fitbit

Bought this for my wife for Christmas to replace the Charge 4 that I got her last year. She never really like the Charge 4 as well as the Charge 2 she had before it succumbed to a bicycle crash. This fits her small wrists slightly better and has more agreeable clock faces. We miss the Charge 2 that allowed a custom clock face with time, date and any two other metrics. The Charge 4 and 5 provide many clock faces, but none can be customized to provide what we want on one screen. Charge 5 price is 30% more than Charge 4.

This unit has a slightly better layout, battery seems to be a little better. Readouts are more accurate. I prefer this better than the fitbit 5.

I got two Apple Watches series 8 and two of these charge 5 fitbits. The charge 5 battery life is awesome. My kids love them. Apple needs to step up their game on battery life.

Bought for my wife as she requested a New fitness tracker, mostly for steps and activity. She thought she wanted a smart watch, but she tried the Sense 2 and thought it was too big and had too many features. She much prefers the smaller display on the Charge. She uses it for step counting, activity reminders, heart rate monitoring and sleep tracking. It does it all flawlessly. She is very happy with the battery life, as well. She only needs to charge it every few days.

Other than the fact that I can see the screen in sunlight, I'm underwhelmed. The best thing is that I can see the screen in sunlight. While I appreciate the ability to read texts and some email on it, I need my glasses and once the message is gone, it's gone, so if I need a second look, I need my phone anyway. I don't see that the sleep tracker is any better than my old Charge 2. The only reason for the purchase was that the old one was dying. It has almost too much and the screens go away so fast. I did finally figure out where the settings on it are. I was used to doing settings only on the app. Now I have app settings and settings on the Charge 5. Some of the stuff I will never use, but I knew that when I got it. Battery life seems to be OK, about what is expected without the all the time on screen or anything else that tells you it impacts the battery. Glad I got it on a good sale and didn't pay full price. Looking for a new band. I break out from the original, as I did from the old one. Sure, they're waterproof and sweat-proof, but I'm sure they are the cheapest bands to put on & the Fitbit can soak you for another $35-$60 for a new band when you have to switch arms or stop wearing because your skin breaks out. All in all, not terrible, slight improvement, but there are things I don't like.
