Burns black ink

The wireless option has made it super easy to do my work at home from any room and its quieter than I expected.

Very slow to print and loses WIFI connection

It printed on command with no issues. I thought I’d try cannon and OMG is this printer slow. First, you must download the app to set up. When I want to print, often times it can’t find the printer , seems it loses WiFi connection and I’ve had to turn off and on for it to work. It was a bargain so I guess you get what you pay for. I do the occasional printing, I would probably return if it was more often. The ink delivery is service is a great bargain and I revived a complimentary set in the mail. If you use your printer on a regular basis, I recommend considering other options.

Prints good, scans awful.

The print quality is good and fairly quick. My beef is with the printing/scanning software. I spent 3 hours trying to scan 14 pages into a single pdf and was unsuccessful. The first page and a couple others scanned at a 90° angle, and a couple of pages scanned in upside down. Yes, the pages were all upright entering the scanner. I tried both the document feeder and one by one on the platen. A very poor scanner.

HOME unit
