I don't print pictures, so can't comment about the quality of photo prints, but does a good job at printing documents and needed one that can do duplex printing. I had a Canon Pixma MX920 Series that lasted for years until my Shiba Inu puppy preferred the printer over his toys to chew on.

But I have to use my phone’s flashlight to read the message board. It’s fairly difficult to setup wireless printing. Does not have a nice look when leaving papers in the feeder tray. I ended up putting them away between uses.

Don't fail me again Canon

It works well, so I'll probably keep it and just sell the other model to a friend on the cheap.

A home printer for light use.

An Older Design That Works Well

If you need features like a document feeder and fax capability built in this is an inexpensive way to go. It's slow by current standards but print quality is excellent. Ink cartridges do not appear to be stocked in store and must be ordered I suspect because of low demand.
