This Chromebook does not have the processing power or GPU power to render videos. It can play the video, but the picture is green pixelated an the picture is blurry. Shame, a bit more processing power for videos and this would be the perfect Chromebook.

Cons - Speakers are not good. I use headphones so it doesn't bother me. Front camera is terrible.

There are also Front 5.0MP / Rear 8.0MP cameras and Dual Array microphones built in. If you are getting less than expected performance from the system speakers and the onboard cameras, resetting the hardware of your IdeaPad Duet 5 Chromebook may fix the issues. It was purchased July of 2024, and after 9 months of use it locked up on me while streaming video. The screen went black and it went into a critical update and never reloaded. I took it into Geek squad for repair and now they have to send it out for to see if it can be repaired. Im very disappointed that a update could crash a Chromebook like that to the point of it being useless.

I will say compare the ratio of your computer to the desks at your college, mine sometimes has a hard time fitting.
