Cognitive dissonance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It comes with no directions/user info. You MUST get appt. with Geek Squad to learn basic manuevers and command locations; it is overly complicated and has an extremely sensitive keyboard and the touchpad will be a real challenge if you are used to typing on a desk top. The only saving grace is that it is hooked up to Chrome. Otherwise, save your money.

The OLED screen is excellent
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its main strength is the low priced true OLED screen. The main weakness for me is the tendency to tilt and "flop forward" into the keyboard. A one piece "stiff back support" for the keyboard attachment (like Apple uses) would solve this problem.

Keep Looking Before Settling for This
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not anything special, pretty limited in what it can do and feels slow a lot of the time. Return window was only 2 weeks so stuck with it, but would probably recommend something different.

OLED Burn in
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So this is actually a really cool Chromebook. I do love the tablet 1st aspect. It also can handle anything you throw at it as a Chromebook. The main issue im having is the OLED screen burn-in. I have exchanged this Chromebook twice and both of them have had the issue. If the screen is above 50 percent brightness its not noticable, though under that there are permanent lines horizontal across the screen. That is a huge deal for me. So after 2 of them, ive given up.. but other than that.. its a great Chromebook.

Eh…. Depends what you need it for
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This 2 in 1 tablet is nice if you just want something for fun, but trying to use this tablet for work is a nightmare and definitely makes job more difficult. I bought device “brand new” according to Best Buy ( paid the bill extra $100) and when I opened it there was already a user account set up and EVERYTHING was in Mandarin. The touch screen is very finicky and only works half the time

Open Box version
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought an open box version and the battery did not work. This was frustrating as it was supposed to be "geek squad" tested and certified.

Posted .Hi, PierceB. We're sorry to hear that your experience with your Duet 5 Chromebook has been poor. To try to resolve this, please let us know what you're trying to accomplish with your Chromebook so we can help. Also, regarding the touchscreen, try doing a hardware reset (visit the following link to learn how to do so: https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/3227606?hl=en&sjid=11168473644130281663-NA), which reboots the embedded controller that manages your touchpad. If this doesn't resolve your issue, you may need to factory reset your Chromebook, which you can learn more about towards the bottom of the webpage tied to the previously embedded link. Feel free to reach out to Lenovo Support for assistance, and we thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us.

Just save for the surface/ipad pro/tab s7+
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ordered twice. First time, device wouldnt power on. Even after trying different key combos to reset it. Returned it, ordered a new one. 2nd one came with a cracked screen, yet box wasnt damaged. Lenovo needs to step up their warehouse. Thats crazy to get 2 broken tablets in a row.

||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really awful. Can't turn off the password. Repeated warranty repairs - limited Lenovo help
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This device would be great if it worked. Currently on the third warranty repair 8 months after purchased. It has spent more time being repaired than being used. NOTE: the warranty does not include replacement, even of a lemon. I'll be purchasing the Best Buy protection in the future.

Bad build quality and counter-intuitive layout
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Build quality was terrible. Keyboard was all switched around and counter intuitive. I'm tech savvy and have been using computers all my life. Why do I want to learn how to use a keyboard and operating system layout that deviates from common linux and windows operating systems? If it aint broke, don't fix it.
