    Inherited a 2017 Hitachi Roku TV and started having problems streaming. Plugged in the fire stick and immediately had reception. Problem solved.

    I prefer firestick of over roku. But I think chromecast is a little better for me as i can mirror my chromebook.

    What I wanted as cord cutting gets closer to a reality dish gone but still have cable. This allows dual TV set up to function as needed

    The fire stick took a couple of times to work properly. The remote did not link correctly to the stick the first 2 times and had to reset it a few times. It also has dropped the Wi-Fi a few times, but it works well most of the time now that the remote is connected.

    Didnt realize how awesome the fire stick is. Supports Dolby vision and hdr10+ unlike roku. Wish I had bought this much earlier.
