When I first Bought It I was very happy with it. Picture was clear and bright. now I can't get it to move to apps. First I thought it was the remote but you could turn volume up and down. It just won't move into any of the channels.

In the event that the remote is turning the volume up and down but not moving the icon in the Fire Stick itself, you may need to pair it back up to the Fire Stick. If you press Home, Go Back (the arrow that looks like it is looping to the left of the Home Button), and Left on the directional pad simultaneously and do a full 30 Mississippi count while pointing near your Fire Stick, it may reconnect it for you and allow you to navigate the menu again. If this doesn't work, then you can contact Amazon Customer Support at 888.280.4331 for further assistance in getting the help you need to fix this. I do however hate the remote. The back constantly slides off. This purchase was made just to replace a remote. They should be cheaper than 30 bucks.
