Once you have a smart tv you don’t need fire tv stick.....

Needs to unplug all the time for the sounds to work.

Worked great out of box then experience issues with load up.

this thing is fantastic ! super fast and lots of settings Dolby Vision and Atmos we installed this on or new Sony X900F because it is so fast, much better than the built in Apps ,state of the art Amazon did a great job on this one,and super easy to get up and running,nice remote too...

I love my Fire stick. The streaming and resolution provide a quick response with a high quality picture. The stick/remote is very user friendly and it is very easy to navigate between menus, channels, and streaming platforms. I'm a huge fan of the voice button on the control and it helps speed up the process when searching shows and/or videos by eliminating the having to type it in. I highly recommend this product.

Awesome deal price ! Flawless, never had any issues with either of my 2 firesticks & tons cheaper than almost all cable, satellite or streaming rip offs ! Amazing amount of options if you need more & are willing to pay a little extra.

I recently cut the cord and went exclusively with Amazon Fire TV Stick and Amazon Fire Recast. For my needs, this is a perfect setup that slashed my cable bill from $150 a month to $50. With this combo I get close to 70 OTA channels, plus my Amazon Prime, Netflix, YouTube and a lot more, all conveniently in one place. I've had Apple TV, Chromecast, Chromebit, Computers hooked up to the TV, but the Amazon Fire TV is the most comprehensive solution I've found. The UX is slick with all of the media across all my platforms right up on the home page. I don't have a 4k TV, but I got the 4k Fire TV because it comes packaged with the new remote. The addition of the volume button and integration with all my devices means that this is the only remote I need. I can change volume, change inputs and then power everything up or down with a single button. If you're looking to cut the cord or find a simple solution for all your streaming needs, get the Fire TV and make sure you get the new remote with the volume control.

The remote which came with the fire stick stoped working after my 2nd day of purchase. I replaced the batteries and facing same problem. I believe the equipment I have received is a faulty one.

I got this a couple of weeks ago and so far it's great! The voice control is really helpful and understands what I'm saying better than I thought it would. Can't really beat it for the price! 10/10

I was looking for a device for my elderly parents to use to watch Netflix on a non-Smart TV. I selected this from several competitors because it looked like the voice control feature would be very helpful (eliminate typing with TV remote, which is about as unfriendly a way to type as there is). The voice control feature for this device is superb in its understanding of spoken words (it never missed!). BUT... it will only speak to the top level Amazon interface, and will not execute commands within an ap. This is basically a deal breaker that makes the voice control almost useless. For example, if I launch Netflix (voice control works well to launch Netflix) and then ask it to search for content within Netflix, it will instead search for content within Amazon. Here's what that means: After launching Netflix, if I ask it to find "Hawaii Five-0" (which is readily available in Netflix), it ignores Netflix and shows me that the show is available from Amazon (for which I do not have a subscription, and I do have one for Netflix!). I find this to be a real head-scratcher, and I can only say "what are they thinking?" If the device is going to have voice control, it should work for finding content in aps, not just Amazon. So my reason for buying this particular device turned out to be wrong. You can use this device to watch Netflix, but Amazon will try to get in your way too much.
