We went to the store and had an appointment with the Geek Squad who diagnosed it and said that we needed to go to the Apple Store. We then made an appointment at the Apple Store to have it diagnosed, and they told us to go back to the Geek Squad. I just spoke with Best Buy support who told me to go make another appointment with the Geek Squad, to try to have it fixed. I'm so dismayed, as this was my mother's first iPad, and she was just getting the hang of it. Now neither of us trust Best Buy to do right by the customer, and we certainly don't trust any refurbished product from them.

When it comes “as is” products , there should be a description about it not just “geek squad certified” . The a decent size dent in the back casing, you can see faint lines in the lcd screen under the glass which means it’ll probably have to be replaced sooner than later as well as the home button. Honestly it should’ve been priced more at $100 and not $199. The charger that was given to me was fine, looked like an actual apple charger but the box can’t be used at the charger is usb and the box is usb-c.

Unit came in packages that ensured it would not be damaged in transit. Best Buy packaged the open box with a new Power supply and charging cable. Would definitly recommend
