    This Sony a7iv is BEYOND what I Expected. NOW i'm the Owner/CEO of FlyFrames LLC. Compaired with my Sony 24-70 G-Master its the Perfect Combo. I'm not a Big Video Shooter BUT the Quality of the Footage is TOP TIER and I look 4ward to doing More Video Gigs.

    Bought this in the last Black Friday, it is out for a few years, but still very capable. I still recommend this in 2025 if price is good. Good about this camera is: 33m pixels is enough for daily uses; good focus speed, probably better than other brands; the lens are also very impressive, I have 70-200 GM, 28-70 F2 GM, with this 2 GM lens, it covers 90% of my use cases, the photos are phenomenal!

    I'm a hobbyist, so this camera is really more than I need, but I love it. I haven't had any issues with it that weren't user errors (my own fault). The camera does tend to get hot when used for a long period of time, but taking a short break from shooting will allow it to cool down.

    The lens that I paired the camera with is the SEL24105G/2 Pros: Picture & Video Quality, Versatile, Customizable Buttons Cons: Price, No Battery Charger Included, Cropped 4K 60 video can be an issue.

    Love this camera! I went from a Canon to this one and while I still love my Canon I wanted to go mirrorless. The quality is incredible. I did have issues viewing the raw files on my macbook but I found a work around by using Imaging Edge and my work flow is better now. Just thought I would share because it is a common issue with sony raw files and macs.

    I love a good camera. I come from Canon and I’m still getting used to the Sony platform, but gosh it takes some FANTASTIC photos. It may have been a bit overkill for my needs but I love getting back into photos after about 8 years of not taking enough.
