Beautifully designed.
I’ve always used Canon cameras, but this is my first Sony, and I love it — love it! Right out of the box, the camera feels solid and intuitive, and it has a ton of features that are perfect for the kind of work I do (product and candle photography). The image quality is beautiful straight out of camera, and I felt like the price was very reasonable given what you’re getting. The menus were easier to navigate than I expected coming from Canon, and once I dialed in my lighting setup, the results were consistently sharp and clean with minimal tweaking. I’m currently looking into what other lenses I can get next to expand my capabilities — loving the versatility so far. Highly recommend for anyone switching systems or stepping up their photography game!

This camera changed the game
I love this camera. I upgraded from the Sony a7R III, and honestly, this feels like a completely different experience. My old camera always felt a little glitchy and slow at times, but the a7 IV is smooth, reliable, and just works the way you expect it to. The upgraded menu alone is a game changer. It’s so much more intuitive and easier to navigate, especially when you're working quickly during a shoot. The touchscreen is another huge win, making focusing and menu adjustments way faster and more natural. Yes, the body is slightly larger, but it still feels compact compared to other full-frame cameras in this category, and the ergonomics are noticeably better. It feels solid in your hands without being bulky. What really stands out is how much it has improved my shooting experience overall. From autofocus performance to usability, everything feels faster, smarter, and more dialed in. It’s one of those upgrades that actually makes you enjoy shooting more. If you're coming from an older Sony body or even considering switching systems, this is 100% worth it.
