This Sony lens completely elevated my photography. The clarity and sharpness even wide open at f/1.8 are stunning. I was unsure about this prime, main concern was being stuck at a 80mm focal length that I then thought would be doomed to just portraits. After owning it for a couple weeks it's much more than that, have surprisingly taken great landscape shots with some creativity. With that being said, what it's mostly used for it dominates. The bokeh is amazing and performs well in low light. It was either this or a 50mm and I'm glad I went 80mm.
