I had to call the Geek Squad to setup this printer. Devices are more complex today than ever. The print and copy features work well but it takes some time to get used to the new features.

I enjoy my printer. I just have simple tasks to do.

It works well even a year later. Sometimes you have to reset the device for devices to connect through WiFi. Love how I can print from anywhere and from my phone.

In general, I’m pretty good with technology and have never had an issue with setting up a new printer in the past. I purchased this printer specifically because of the high resolution scanner. The scanner will create a preview image of what I have on the glass but when I hit scan, it does absolutely nothing and there’s no way suggested to fix it. I wanted a high resolution scan, but when that didn’t work, I tried the lowest resolution and that also didn’t work. I thought maybe the problem was with my work laptop and so I also tried my personal laptop and that also didn’t work. So I’m gonna take a couple days and decide whether it’s worth it to work with geek squad to try to get this thing working or I can just take it back to Best Buy and get my money back. I’ve always liked HP in the past, but this is extremely disappointing. By the way, since I did some Internet searches about this issue, I see that people have had the same problem for years but so far there doesn’t seem to be a resolution that works consistently. I tried using the chat bot on hp.com to fix the problem but it started answering a question I didn’t even ask, and then when I finally was able to ask for help with my specific problem, it did not give any useful information. HP used to be good. What happened??

Its one of the better ones for an inexpensive printer, but the manufacturer quality is just what we are faced with today - cheap. We will see if this one lasts longer than three months.

Item working fine. Only complaint was delivery schedule. When scheduled delivery worker was ill and could not arrive as planned, I was not promptly notified and after I made several attempts to find out what happened, I finally was able to speak with an actual HUMAN and a new delivery date was arranged which added 2 more weeks to being without a printer

A reliable and relatively inexpensive printer . Setup does take awhile but woks as advertised. Only complaint is that you must use original HP ink cartridges. Refills don’t work.

Hated the HP tango. This is a FAR Better option. Just wish it had additional plug in network connection.
