Cheap and Poor Quality - You Get What You Pay For
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very disappointed in this printer. I've used several models of Canon inkjet printers in the past and been happy with them but this is a lemon. This was a replacement for an older Canon Pixma. It is very slow, it often takes over a minute to get ready to print a simple black text only page, or it will "time out" and just stall. Also it shows low ink or out of ink message after replacing with a new cartridge. Overall this is terrible compared to past Canon printers I've owned. Sorry I bought it.

Unacceptable service causes downgrading of printer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Does not set up very easy like they say. It would not connect via wireless without a lot of help. It took me much longer because the person from support that I talked with did not know much at all and you could hear her going through lots of papers trying to find answers. Also it was very annoying that she skipped the set up for things like scanning and faxing and those were a major reason to buy a new printer. This was completely unacceptable but our phone connection went dead about 10 times and then she would call me back. but before we finished she did not call me back and that was unacceptable. She should be fired since she was nearly useless. This was a horrible experience and now I still have to call back and hope I get someone that knows what they are doing.

Do not buy
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I actually hate this printer. I bought it hoping that it would be easy to use. Everytime anyone in the house wants to print (I have three sons who have to print for school), we have to go over to it and turn it on, cause it always turns off, then we have to click on wireless and enable it, EVERYTIME!! I just saw the return window is closed, which is on me because I didn’t set up the printer right away and have only been using it for a couple weeks now and am now stuck with a printer that I hate. Don’t repeat my mistake.

Great, all around printer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really liking Canon printers these days. With this small(ish) form factor and great features, can't go wrong with with these. I've used a few Canon printers and really liked the simplicity and reliability of them. I used to be a HP fan however their durability has been questionable in the past few years and the introduction of their HP+ service is a joke. Canon has always been a reliable printer for me and this one is no different. Out of the box, it's super easy to setup/install. Comes with some starter ink cartridges and power cable which is all you need to get setup. After setup, thanks to its small form factor. it fits perfectly on my little printer stand. As with other Canon printers, the quality is very nice. I don't do a whole lot of picture printing but the couple test pictures I printed out were good quality. I usually print for business/personal use so I'm usually limited to just black and white printing. Good to know though this is capable of printing that random picture if I need it to. Copier and scanning work equally as good. Really haven't had any issues so far with this printer, or with any Canon printer really. Great little all-around printer to have for small office/home use.

Useless Instructions, Useless Scanner
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer is miserable to set up. The Wi-Fi printing/scanning doesn't work and the instructions are useless. The top loader to scan multiple pages only worked one time for me. Finally, it doesn't even come with the USB cable to plug it into a PC. Don't waste your money! I wish I could return it.
