Overall nice printer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall a nice printer. However, one thing bugs me. I can not print color from my computer. I have to go into the HP app and print from there if I want to print something in color! I can print B & W from my computer just fine, no problem, just not color. When I do print color, it prints very nicely. Photos print clearly. Documents sharp & quickly. Fairly quiet too.

Easy to use so far. Love tanks!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good. For me it’s about getting it done. I’m at home and retired. I don’t have many needs. The occasional spreadsheet or email. Comparison shopping and lists. Photos are important but I haven’t printed any yet. Love the canister ink. Supposed to last a year. I’m encouraged not to have to replace constantly. The only grump I have is that there is no on/off. The control is touch /scroll <> and viewed from the top so I have to stand up to look down to view it because of where it is placed (on my desk). It remains in the default to print so that’s just fine. Large capacity paper tray makes it bulky but I had room for it between our two desks.

Good Printer with a 2-year supply of ink!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When it came time to buy new cartridges for our existing HP OfficeJet I saw the prices for replacement cartridges. Basically, it would cost more than the printer cost initially. So after some research I ended up buying this printer. Setup was easy, qr code to download the app to my phone, and then follow the instructions to get the printer up and running. The bottles of Ink were easy to use and spillproof. No Mess, no muss, no fuss! So far print quality has been as expected from an HP inkjet. The only feature I miss is double sides scanner document feeder but I didn't use that too often. We have done quite a bit of printing so far, Ink levels have not dropped noticeably. Not worrying about the cost of the ink has been a freeing feeling!

Printer is Great. Software, not so much.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The unit itself seems great. Pleased with the quality and the inking process that I expect will save a good deal of money. It is quiet and compact. My only frustration is the HP Smart app's quirky reliability/unreliability in utilizing all of the nice features of the printer.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am adjusting to my new printer. I had the HP8600 series and loved it. This 7602 printer does good color and I feel the photo printing is great. Learning to adjust to printing envelopes and letter head.

HP Smart Tank
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer replaced my reliable old Epson that finally died. The setup and connectivity of the printer are superior, and the large ink tanks are so convenient. Print quality and speed are excellent. So far this has been a significant upgrade.

Perfect so far
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The only reason I didn’t give this printer a 5 is because of the limited use to date. It has performed flawlessly so far. I would recommend it.

Finally the right one!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After being a HP printer user for more than 8 years I decided to try something new when my printer stopped working . I started with a “brother”printer and didn’t find it very user friendly. Then an “Epson” printer - too many presets just to print in color on regular paper. Too time consuming. I thought about a cannon and decided why not use the HP printer again. Easy set up, very functional and this time with a tank printer how could one go wrong. It is an exceptional value. So many quality copies - can’t go wrong. Should I mention that all of these changes happened within a few weeks. It didn’t take long to go back to what works!

Good But . . .
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this all-in-one a few weeks ago to replace 12-year old HP 8600 plus which had been quite robust and dependable. This Smart Tank 7602 will definitely save on ink since cartridges for my old printer topped $130 for all four standard cartridges, while all four ink bottles for the 7602 is $67. The printer itself is small and very flimsy. When opening it to install the ink, the hinge for the cover seems easily breakable so I had to gingerly raise it to its locking position, Likewise lowering it to disengage the locking position seemed fragile as well. Aside from that, the most glaring problem is installing the drivers which took quite a while, and the website had so many popups (repeatedly asking if I wanted to install Windows 11, other advertisements for HP stuff, and a survey request) which detracted from the installation. I had to reinitiate installation twice in order to complete installation. The HP Smart application would not work correctly with our computers (an HP desktop and HP laptop running Windows 10), and I wound up installing the universal scan software and driver so the scanner would work properly. I opted not to subscribe to the HP Instant Ink program since I don't need my printer to be monitored by HP. Overall, scanning and printing documents, and printing photos happens slowly (at least slower than our old printer), but the quality seems ok. Printing photos is one feature I needed that wasn't offered on the HP 9100 series printer I would have purchased since it offered double sided scanning from the ADF, a desirable function not available on the 7602. Even with the aforementioned issues, I would recommend this all-in-one.

Great BUT
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased my Smart Tank HP7602 on October 9th, 2023, and it worked great until about a week ago, when it began going offline on its own and experiencing issues with connection and printing. I have to restart it over and over, which is becoming annoying, especially since I'm not sure why it is suddenly behaving this way when it had been working great until now. I start college on August 28, 2025, and need to pick up my printer on my way to Best Buy.
