I've used the same Rainbow for the last 24 years and it still runs, but I've broken a latch for the water basin and it makes it even less convenient to carry up and down the stairs. I've always heard decent things about Dyson, and I like their technology, so I decided to get the Dyson V8 Animal and I think it was a great decision. It's been probably a month or so and I use it almost every day. It certainly doesn't have the power of the Rainbow, but from a hand-held, it's not something you can really expect. What it lacks in airflow, it makes up for in portability, and design. When/if this one quits, I will certainly purchase another.

The vacuum cleaner sucks up dust well, there are no questions about it. But the operating time is only 15 minutes. The manufacturer claims that the new vacuum cleaner will work for about 40 minutes at maximum mode. Unfortunately, there is not always enough time to clean the bedroom and living room. I'm afraid to imagine what will happen next. And the vacuum cleaner is quite noisy. The advertisement shows how a cat sleeps when a vacuum cleaner is working next to it. This is of course false marketing.

Its light weight and effectiveness in cleaning the floors has worked well for us.

This is my 3rd Dyson. As always great quality! Keep it up!

We have mostly hardwood floors but this works great on the carpet we do have. Very light weight, cordless so I can go over the entire house without worry. We have a chocolate lab and the amount of dog hair it picked up is gross but it works like a charm.

So far so good, the issue I was having with my previous Dyson was that right after the warranty ended it stopped holding charge longer than 10mins but hopefully this won’t be an issue with this one.

Great for hard wood floors and carpet. Def recommend.

this replaces my first Dyson Vac that had the battery fail after 8 years, and makes the 4th Dyson I've purchased over the last few years. Yes they cost a bit more but overall they are worth it.

This vacuum is like the leader of all vacuums. What a time we live in. You can even use it as a small vacuum too. Best vacuum in the market. I feel like

I like dyson products. They work great. This vacuum is very lightweight and easy to maneuver, but lises its charge fast. I don't know if it's just mine or if it's normal.

The thing does perfectly what it was built to do. Super fun time cleaning with no hassle lugging a heavy weight around or mangling any wires. So glad we bought this.

I bought this to keep up with pet hair and it works perfect for that. Very easy to empty and charge. I love it and there was no assembly tequired!

Love this vacuum. It has two settings if you want to do a regular clean and a deep clean, and it's very lightweight to take up and down the stairs. It has a sleek look, and the docking station that comes with it was very easy to install.

Good vacuum for hard floors, Battery popped after 6 months of use, stopped working for a bit and started to work again. Not sure what to say about that.

I have been wanting to purchase this for a long time and finally bit the bullet. I have two pugs, a lab and agreyhound in my house. Needless to say the pet hair is insane. If I use it every day, I usually only have to empty it once but I am not great at vacuuming daily. I typically empty two-three times when I vacuum about 800 sqft of hardwood floors. But again, that's on me because I let the pet hair go for so long! Emptying is super easy, so I don't mind. Changing attachments is really easy and I love that it came with a wall mount, unlike my last stick.

A lot of power for a small vacuum.you have to empty it alot but it is powerful.

I'm very happy with my purchase. This is the best cordless vacuum I've ever had. Holds its battery for a long time, sucks up even the smallest Speck of dirt. it's light, inconspicuous and does the job in seconds.! I highly recommended!!!!

Best vacuum I have ever had! Lightweight and easy to empty dirt. Easy to use on wood floors and carpet. Easy to move around corners and furniture! LOVE MY DYSON!!
