Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the picture quality and ease of use of the 55” Class UQ75 Series LED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV (2022). Many also appreciate the price and vibrant colors. However, some users have noted that the remote control could be improved, and the operating system's responsiveness is a point of concern for a few. The TV's setup and lightweight design are additional positive aspects frequently mentioned.

    Unreliable smart TV OS

Deeply disappointing. I had an LG several years ago that I loved: Very reliable OS, never any issues. LG's WebOS smart TV software has apparently degraded in that time. Despite very fast internet speeds in my home, apps spend minutes loading (and sometimes don't load at all) shows and movies buffer constantly, and apps and live TV randomly relaunch from the homescreen. HBO Max and Hulu are nearly unusable. Netflix and YouTube are pretty sturdy, though they both still have issues. Going to trade the TV in for a different brand. It's a shame!

We have owned this since Sept. 2022. We were away for 6 months, so a total use of 5 months. Since our return in late April, we have had nothing but problems with this TV. It keeps losing the internet connection while all other devices, and our internet are working fine. We completely reset to original settings, worked great for 2 days. It just went out again! BB said there is nothing they can do. I realize these flat screens are not meant to be repaired, but my other LG has had no problems at all for over 4 years now. I may be the exception, but make sure you but BB warranty with this, or expect nothing from them.

An abject piece of junk. Locks up, constantly buffers (my internet speed is fine), does not come with the Magic Remote required to access many of the television's features. All in all the worst electronic purchase I've ever made. When money allows, it's going straight into the dumpster.

    Wi-Fi keeps getting disconnected

I’ve had this for 5 months and it randomly drops the WiFi connection. It used to be infrequently but today it was impossible to fix. I had to watch YouTube tv on my laptop right in front of my tv because the tv kept dropping my signal. And when I search for networks it doesn’t even show options. My other devices pick up tons of networks but not this TV. It can’t find ANY network. My laptop and phone don’t have any connection issues so it’s not the WiFi. It’s the tv.I’ve tried unplugging the router, the tv, and even did the dreaded factory reset. No change. What a waste. Would never buy lg again.

Hi, Patricia. Thank you for leaving us a feedback. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the Wi-Fi connectivity issues you're experiencing with your LG 55” Class UQ75 Series LED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV, model 55UQ7570PUJ.

To address this problem, we recommend the following troubleshooting steps:

      1. Check if there are any physical obstructions near the TV that may be interfering with the Wi-Fi signal. Move any objects away from the TV and ensure it has a clear line of sight to the router.
      2. Verify that the TV's software is up to date. Visit the LG support website, search for your TV model, and download any available firmware updates.
      3. Reset your home network by turning off the router and modem for a few minutes, then turning them back on. This can help refresh the network connection.
      4. Try disabling any firewall or VPN settings on your router as they may be blocking the TV's connection.
      5. Contact your internet service provider to ensure your network is functioning properly.
