We just print black and white documents mostly - well even though we don't use the Magenta, Yellow, or Cyan cartridges, they progressively get lower until the printer says they're out, regardless of the fact that we've never used them. It's weird, but it's fine - we don't print in color anyway. EXCEPT for one issue... The printer REFUSES to print in black and white if you're out of ANY of the other 3 colors. Even though it doesn't need those colors to print with black ink. I've tried turning off "print in color" and setting printer settings to Black and White or grayscale - this doesn't solve the problem. To print in all black, you must buy Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow cartridges. I'll never buy another Brother printer again. That's just anti-consumer business practices to stuff their pockets with my money for items I don't need. Disgusting. What's the lifetime profit of one customer? Deduct that from you next income statement - you lost a customer for life. I'd rather spend the money to buy a new printer than give in to oppressive anti-consumer business practices. Thanks but no thanks.

Easy to install, works great. Was asked to download Brother software that I am sure is needed but I did download it.

Best printer I've ever had and I've had a few! The setup could be better, but the print quality is excellent!!!

Easy to use. I was able to install the ink in a minute, the way they set this printer up was to be user friendly.

Super user friendly ! Why can’t everything be this easy ? Loving it so far other than how much it shakes when printing but that’s nothing . I hope it’s truly wireless and I can print wireless through my phone or laptop . We shall see

Perfect, simple printer. Seems to not be over complicated. Wireless printing set up without issue. Although it lacks a touchscreen, the functions are easily utilized by following the on screen button prompts

Difficulty printing documents manually and automatically, vague operating instructions .

Works great when it works. Sometimes i have to unplug it and plug it back in so it can reconnect to the wifi. Printing is a little slow but print quality is great.

Ever since I bought my printer it’s been a lot of help not having to go pay for copies and print outs it takes really good copies I’ve been asked several times where did I buy it at.

I got this for a company and they say it's far better than the other one they had. I actually recommended this printer as I've have nothing but good experiences with my first Brother printer. Always I will go with Brother printers over the other brand.

Incredibly easy to set up! I will say there is a password unique to the printer on the sticker on the back that you need for software updates. Make sure you get it before you put the printer in its final place. or else you'll have to pull it out

I use this printer brand in my small business and is great. When I replaced my old printer at home, I choose again this brand and is working very good. I printed pictures and documents and is great.

It's ok. Photo's not the best. Good enough for paperwork. Wouldn't recommend. The first one crashed. They sent a new one. If you want a photo, look for another printer.

This printer is absolutely amazing. It does everything I need it to do. The print quality is amazing. The colors are crisp, clean, and fresh. The ink that it comes with lasts for a long time unless you print stuff often which I do. I just ran out of black ink.
