I'm always shocked to see how much dirt is on the floor. The only thing negative is that it takes some muscle to push it, or, you can build muscle if you vacuum everyday!

I prefer to invest in the best products I can afford and Dyson has not disappointed. The first Dyson Ball lasted 8+ yrs and was still serviceable when I bought this one, but, it needed some work so I decided it was time to replace it. The ease and simplicity of dumping the waste container as well as easy to replace filters, reliability and strong vacuum make it an easy choice.

What’s more frustrating is how difficult it is to find replacement parts. When the roll hose tore and a small clip broke, I spent weeks trying to find the roller, most weren’t available on Dyson’s site or from third-party sellers. For a vacuum at this price point, I expected better long-term support and easier maintenance. If anything breaks, good luck getting it fixed quickly.

We have three boys and two dogs and we’re on a farm so there’s always a mess. The only downfall is that it is really heavy so to take it downstairs it is too tough for younger kids doing their chores.

It cleans fantastic. My apartment carpet is always clean because the vacuum does a phenomenal job. I also clean the ceiling with the vacuum. Great price and great work.

I have worn out three in 20 years that says it all. Never had an issue with any of them. Would not buy anything else!!!! Don't waste your money on any other this is THE ONE!! My other Dyson finally broke after 13 years. This one is the updated version. The cord is longer and the hose is extra long. It works great on tile floor and thick carpet. My girls actually said they loved it too and always want to vacuum now!

I usually stick to buying cheaper vacuums but my husband said that if we actually spend a little more and invest in a nice vacuum , it won’t break all of the time! So we did and he was right! It’s a little hard to maneuver on carpet around furniture because of its weight. It is powerful and has good suction.

But the Dyson Animal is by far the best one ever.. it’s super powerful and smooth. We cannot find one negative thing about it. We’re planning to purchase another Dyson product.

This vacuum is powerful and has a long cord to easily do my whole main floor without changing outlets. I highly recommend this vacuum.

Does the job very well.
