We are pleased with this vacuum cleaner. It’s easy to use and works well.

I thought my carpet was clean but after using the Dyson vacuum I was surprised how much dirt it pulled up.

I really like dyson. They seem to do a great job picking up dirt and everything. And last a really long time. I mostly got this because it was a great deal on sale. I still kept my other.

I have two german shepherds and there is no othwr vaccum that even comes close to the Dyson Ball animal 3

After many years of only purchasing the other big name brand I really wanted to like this having high hopes based on all of the hype but it was a giant disappointment. It is possible that ours was just defective but I suspect that these were just design flaws. Right off the bat it was super frustrating that I could not transport it around the house on the back wheels (turned off and moving room to room) without the wheels popping back and collapsing the entire unit to a vacuuming position making it almost impossible to push when turned off. Then while vacuuming twice the head just fell off even though I had been sure to lock it in place after the first time it fell off. The suction was pretty decent but I'll just share that I had returned this and immediately went back to that "other" big brand and when I came home to test it out it had almost a half of a canister still filled even after having used this. Bottom line; it wasn't worth the time for me.

Vacuum works very well, very happy with performance

We bought this vacuum to replace an older Dyson that we had seemingly forever, I cannot believe the power of this one. Feels like it is going to suck the carpet fibers right out (it doesn't of course). Just a really deep clean!

Works as well as the Dyson mythology has built it up to. Heavy and not the most intuitive controls and design, but it works great. Feels study, so hopefully it will last for a long time.

I was skeptical on spending this much but was not disappointed. I ran my old (high end HEPA) vacuum a few passes on an area rug then ran the Dyson. I couldn't believe what it picked up even following behind the old (high end HEPA vacuum) it was replacing. Satisfied.

Had to assemble, which was fairly straightforward, but got a little tricky with the handle. Has great suction power, but I don't like that if it's upright, the suction automatically comes through the top of the handle. It's weird actually, and getting the handle down isn't intuitive. Easy to empty dirt bin. Handles cat/dog fur well so far.

Works very well. Went over the same area. We had just vacuumed with our older Dyson vacuum. Picked up a lot more dust. Just wish it came with the rotating hose head for stairs. Nice that it has a height adjustment. We had to return the Dyson Animal 2 because it didn’t have that and stopped rotating on some carpets.

I purchased this vacuum, as it was on-sale with a pretty significant discount. I have 2 dogs, one of which is a German Shepherd that sheds like NO other! I go through vacuums more often than I'd like, so I'm hoping this one stands the test of time a little longer than other I've purchased for less money. I like the maneuverability, although, due to its construction, cannot get under small spaces. One MAJOR complaint that I have is the detachable hose. It is NOT the easiest to use. I feel like a contortionist when I need to use it. I wish I could articulate how annoying it is. Other than that, I feel like it gets up as much dirt and dog hair as any other unit I've owned, if not more. I also own a Shark, that I use in another area of my home, which is comparable in picking up dirt and hair AND the detachable hose is almost as annoying to use. I'd give 5 stars if the hose was easier to use.

Vacuum kept breaking due to pet hair getting tangled. Have only needed to fully clean the bottom brush once in the year we’ve owned the vacuum. It cleans everything we need it to with ease.

Assembly was straightforward, clear instructions. The "ball" is fine for maneuvering; weight requires arm strength. We have two cats, 0 dogs/kids. No stairs. The straight end of the attachment tube is difficult to maneuver with areas within 1'-3' away. Happy overall.

Terrific vacuum with unbelievable suction. Great maneuverability and versatility. Significantly preferred over a cordless version which have a limited capacity. We absolutely love it. Highly recommend.

This is a phenomenal vacuum, suction is great, average weight, leaves a very clean house carpet and floors. The Add-On attachments are nice enough to clean stair cases, pool table cloth top and corners. I really like the maneuverability of the vacuum and the suction power is really what makes it well worth it.

I was a bit hesitant on purchasing this seeing the price but I’m glad I took the jump and bought it! It’s hard finding a good vacuum cleaner since I have pets and this one has not failed me yet. It sucks up dirt and hair with great power and helps keep the house clean.

This is one of the best vacuums my only gripe is the extension the comes out is not nearly as good as advertised and doesn't go very far its actually pretty frustrating to use because it doesn't extend more and pull the vacuum. Other then that best vacuum for pet hair on the floor
