    The hand is a flimsy plastic and you feel like you’ll break it if you turn it too hard. If you have to use the wand, it doesn’t work well in tight places. Very poor quality for the price.

    The ball makes it clumsy and the small surface area of the roller makes you work harder to vacuum the same area.

    Got new carpet

    Got new carpet and choose Dyson Ball Animal because it had 3 levels for how to use on thicker carpet. We have it set to the highest level and I can barely move it on the carpet which is only between 1/2 to 3/4 in high. I very disappointed with the Dyson as it was very expensive, and the salesman assured me that it would work.

Please note that if you do have thick/special carpeting, it is best to reach out to the carpets' manufacture for the suction limit. If there is to much suction, the vacuum will not work as intended. To resolve this issue, we do have the "easy to push" cleaner head, that can be purchased directly from the Dyson Official Website.     Extremely disappointed, broke in first use. Would not stand upright. Also the hose for the handheld is ridiculously stiff making the unit very akward to use. This felt very cheap upon unboxing and unfortunately my first impressions were correct. Buy anything else, Best Buy returned with no issue and I got a shark and am loving it

    A little bit too much suction. Can't figure out how to stop brushes. Won't work on throw rugs- just eats them.

We always suggest checking your manufacturers recommended cleaning instructions, for the flooring type you're cleaning. The three levels of suction are controlled by the slider on the front of the cleaner head. Slide the suction control to suit the floor type.     Best vacuum ever if you have pets

    This vacuum is more than I could imagine. I didn't think anything could remove the dog hair from my carpet and area rugs. I am truly impressed. I should have gone this route the first time instead of buying cheaper vacuums.

    Great and improved from old model. Still lacking in one aspect though hair still gets caught in the vane even though it has a “detangling vane”. Still helps though and isn’t nearly as bad as old model.

    I absolutely hate this vacuum! If all you want to vacuum is the floor and NEVER use the hose, then it is a good vacuum cleaner. The hose is so stiff when trying to use it that it takes two people to be able to use the hose because one person has to hold the vacuum while the other one tries to use the hose.

    Got this animal 3 because my animal 2 was making some weird noises after about 4 years of reliable service. Don’t think it’s as good as my old animal 2 but I’ve only had it for about a month.

    This is the worst vacuum I have ever purchased. It has scratched my hardwood floors on numerous occasions. My floors are ruined. I will go back to Miele. A superior vacuum.
