I don't use hair dryer but starting to using it because it is dyson. It's light yet powerful and feels drying quicker. Very satisfied and we will see whether it lasts -- honestly, this is very expensive gadget for the hair dryer.

Dyson makes incredible products, and this hair dryer is outstanding. Although surprised at the weight and the extra heavy duty cord, I realize this is what it takes to make a product truly great. Been wanting one for years….this Christmas we splurged. 3 family members use this appliance almost daily. It’s built to last…. It is awesome.

I purchased the original dyson hairdryer (when it first came out) and have used it pretty mich every day. It stopped working. I bought this as a replacement as Best Buy had it on sale. Worth every penny! Huge time saver

This is a must have! The best hair dryer I have ever owned.

I only grew my hair out within the last 2 years so hair drying is fairly new to me. This thing is fantastic. The attachments, specifically the diffuser thing, are great. Now I understand the hype. It's also pretty quiet, which is good since bathroom is next to kids room.

My first observation was how quickly the dryer turns on and off. Other dryers typically take a few seconds to wind down. But this one stops immediately. Didn't think that would be a perk, but I like that feature. I usually have to hide in a different bathroom to not wake the kids or my husband when using the dryer. I don't have to do that with this dryer. It's quiet enough. Also, I have really long and thick hair. I haven't timed how long it takes to dry my hair (before and after) but I know it's significantly quicker. Best guess, half the time. It is pricey but I hope to not have to buy another dryer again for several years. We have other Dyson products that have lasted us many years so I don't think it's too much to believe this dryer will do the same.

Blow dries hair very fast with no frizz ! Love how the extra pieces magnetize to the main part !

My wife loves this hair dryer. It has great settings and is reasonably quiet compared to other hairdryers. Seems to work really fast and has great attachments. Very much worth the extra money.

Love this thing my wife wanted it for her, i went and got it and love it. She gets to use it at times. The color is great and it’s quite too. I must have for the house hold.

The product itself was excellent. It dries very fast, absolutely lightweight, better center of gravity so it doesn't hurt your arm to use it. My hair dries out faster and comes out sleeker. I just don't think this will be a first choice because of the price. I get it, it's top of the line technology and it's high end but $400 for a hair dryer?!! Maybe if it was $100 less, it wouldn't be too bad and yet $300 for a hair dryer still ain't cheap. If you have the money to spare, go ahead and splurge.

Bought this for my wife and it is the best purchase I have gotten. It cost a pretty penny, but its so easy to use, light on her wrists and very quite. She continues to say how much she loves it even after 4+ months later.

Amazing, my girlfriend uses it everyday. She says all the attachments are useful as well depending on how you want to style your hair.

My wife looked at this before Christmas and was interested but didn't want to pay 400.00usd. I had a 10% off coupon and they did a 50.00usd gift card for purchasing it. She was so excited when she opened it. Then after using it she was even more excited and kept bragging how well it worked and how the dry time was about 2/3rds the usually time. I am bald so I would not know about that. So we can tale her word on this.

My wife is thrifty. She literally left this thing in the box for nearly two weeks to see if I had the resolve to make her use it before considering returning it. When you have used 30 dollar hair dryers for years the thought of paying 8 times more for a dryer sounds asinine. Well she finally realized that I was dug in deep and ready for trench warfare on this. She reluctantly opened the box and felt the solid construction and attachments and gave it a whirl. Let me cut to the chase. Not only did it dry her hair in half the time but she said it was quieter and easier on her hair. I noticed the difference in how her hair looked more straight. I think she's sold and me, never being the the one to say "I told you so" will quietly accept my mini victory. We're keeping the Dyson.

Purchased this hair dryer on sale, and am really glad I took the plunge! Not only does it run so quietly that you can barely hear it running, it dries my hair very quickly. Love it so far!
