I bought it 3 months ago and the motherboard has already gone out. It's under warranty but there's no ETA for when the part will arrive. I've always purchased GE appliances and I've always had good luck until now and I'm so very disappointed. If I wanted to buy trash i wouldn't have soent $900 to do so.

We apologize for the delay in getting the part needed but this pandemic has affected our parts availability. The service provider can check to see if they have any idea when to expect the part needed. We hope this helps but does not make it any easier to be without a dishwasher. Geoff@GEA
Poor GE washer and customer service quality

We had the similar issues with 2 year old GE washer, and GE service could not help us and gave us all excuses, the GE customer was not helpful either. For those who are buying GE washer, good luck!

Turns out it no longer exists, but it took Best Buy six weeks to find that out after I talked to seven different customer service people.

Flooded my washing room and just transfers my phone call around with no one to help. Geek squad also crushed the dryer hose I had to purchase for the install as well. Just go to Home Depot or Lowes. Should have taken photos of all the water from the 2 times it’s flooded.

Service guy was showing us how to use the washer and dryer set. He turned on the washer and started the dryer. The washer instantly tripped the breaker and one of the dryer buttons wouldn’t work. We did the exchange the next day with no issues.

After some research, I decided to go with LG because the Samsungs apparently still suffer from bearing failure. Immediately, I noticed how sturdy the LG is. Upon using the washer, I found it easy to use and it had great features. I further noticed it did a great job of removing and collecting hair from our dogs off our laundry. Coupled with the new LG dryer, there is no longer hair that needs to be cleaned off the laundry. I further love the venting feature of the washer that aids in preventing mold formation when the door is closed. We’ve only had the units for a few weeks and so far all is well.

The GE woulld not fit in and let laundry room door open. I cannot review the GE product because we kept the original LG washer and dryer. Waiting to have our credit given ..thid was not the best experience overall.
