Therefore, when I do write one, the problem is excessively bad. I’ve had this washer for 9 months and it is already giving me problems. Not only is the washer not washing clothes like it should, it is making horrible noises. We contacted Geek Squad and was quickly told that their service won’t help until the warranty is used. We cannot get service from Samsung to get this corrected. The matching dryer was also broken and had to be replaced by Best Buy the minute it came into my house. We had a Samsung refrigerator that had to be replaced the first day in came into my house. Samsung is the worst appliance manufacturer I’ve ever purchased from. I’ve learned my lesson and will NEVER buy another product from them again. Take my advice; buy another brand and save yourself the headaches that I’ve dealt with.

It stopped working mid-cycle in November 2025. 3 person family, so it was not any sort of extreme use situation. Tried replacing both the main control board and door lock mechanism. At that point, we decided to cut our losses and buy a new washer.

I am extremely unsatisfied with Best Buy and Samsung. Best Buy sold me a lemon and will not assist with a replacement or a refund. I purchased a Samsung washer and dryer set from Samsung and less than 2 months later the washer stopped working with my clothes locked in the machine. I contacted Best Buy but they could not/would not help. They referred me to Samsung and it’s been a nightmare. Samsung has sent 5 technicians out and none of them have been able to fix they continue to show up with the wrong part and have to reschedule. The last technician came out on 1/5/24, had to use my WiFi to connect and after troubleshooting realized he had a defective part. I am almost a month without a washer and am awaiting Samsung to call me with the next appointment. I will never again purchase a Samsung product and definitely will never recommend their products. Finally, Samsung’s no service department is a joke and are no help at all. I’ve spoken with at least 10 representatives who have no clue how to help but they are very good reading from a script.
