    Junk and poor customer service.

    After using this dryer for about 2 months it developed a scraping noise this week and I reached out to Samsung support to notify them of the problem. They sent a "tech" out to fix the problem and he noticed a small 2 inch dent/mark on the rear right corner that happened during delivery. Although I noticed it when I removed the packing material, I didn't feel it was worth calling best buy to get a replacement as it would not and does not in any way affect the dryer's operation. The tech removed the top panel and front panel to investigate and we both noticed that the drum was only hitting the front side wall of the dryer at a certain spot on rotation and the drum had a slight wobble when rotating. He called Samsung support and sent them a picture of the dent and the area on the dryer where the drum rubs as it passes by. The support rep told him that since the dryer was damaged there would be no repair and the warranty is void. While the top was removed I pointed out that the drum didn't appear to be centered as there is more than an inch in clearance on the left side and less than a quarter inch on the right side where the rubbing occurs. The tech reassembled the dryer and left. Besides the obvious poor customer service, I will say that this is the second Samsung dryer we have owned and the first one lasted 15 years and was still funtioning when we decided to "upgrade" to this new and more expensive model. This dryer is very poorly constructed and it's easy to see that the quality of the parts they use now are inferior to what was used in the past. We will never purchase another Samsung product and we have always looked to them first in any purhase we are going to make. Shame!

    So far so good. Love the fact that i get a notification on my tv and phone letting me know my load is done and if i want can add another cycle from my phone alone without being in the same room as the machine.

    Excellent when maintained properly. Not so great when not maintained properly. ROUTINE MAINTENANCE GOES A LONG WAY! Seriously just treat these right and they work amazing.

    Beautiful set but what I can say is these last 2 months I've experienced some glitches with the washer machine or it will just stop not spin out the cycle or the dryer doesn't get hot of contact with Samsung support so I'm in the process of working with them also after only two months of use I'm getting a sulfur smell from the drain hose which means it's not draining properly so so far I have to say my experience is neutral I'm willing to give appliances to benefit of the doubt until I work out all the kinks are issues down the road.

    I will NEVER purchase another Samsung appliance, and I am saying this with a kitchen full of Samsung appliances, 3 TVs and this Dryer along with its companion washer, as well as an additional set in my basement. We purchased this dryer in November of last year. Two weeks ago, the dryer stopped working. After contacting Best Buy, we were informed the Best Buy warranty expired the DAY BEFORE. It’s unfortunate, because although we purchased the dryer in November, we did not take possession until it was delivered in December, which would have added the needed additional weeks to the one year warranty. We began contacting Samsung a week ago and still have not been provided repair service. Almost every Samsung appliance we have purchased has had issues. I am so disappointed in the quality and service options from both Best Buy and Samsung.

    I have had my washer and dryer in use for a full week now and it’s absolutely perfect. I had a LG set before and it doesn’t even compare to this Samsung set I got. My clothes smell amazing, feel amazing, and the set is freaking adorable. Love love love.

    Love my dryer! But the only down side is you have to purchase the power cord separately! Was not told when sold this item in-store by the associate. You’d think it would come with it already l, seeing how much the appliances cost.. which I purchased the set! Kinda disappointed in having to purchase it separately and also the hoses for the washer as well!

    Beautiful appliance. Works wonderful and very quiet. Many features for drying options. My wife doesn't even own an iron. Clothes come out wrinkle free if you grab them while they are hot.

    I bought this unit in March of 2023, and until recently it has been great. I try to wait about a year before i write a review, the washer that came with it is great! But, as of last month the dryer has started spinning even when it is turned off. Recently, as in the last week, it has stopped even getting warm. I'm going to try to save it as it is a great dryer when it works. Love the smart technology so it will just alert my phone instead of me waiting to hear it do its little musical number. Great dryer when it works.

    I’m pretty satisfied with this dryer. There are several dryer settings: temperature, dryness, steaming…more than most will use but nice to have options. Like the washer, there’s a chime to notify the cycle is done, but you can turn it on and off.

    Not sure about this yet. Love the look. We owned it three weeks and a heating fuse/sensor went out. BB was amazing enough to replace the entire unit. Now when a load has finished and you open the door you hear this knocking noise. Will probably be calling them back. Dries quick and efficient though!

      You can turn the alarm on or off. When the alarm is off, the melody of cycle completion and the power-off beep will not sound. However, the other sounds stay active.
