I had an older MacBook Pro. If you want to save a few bucks I switched from a 2013 MacBook Pro to a newer Air and it performs perfectly. The Air is much faster than my previous computer. I use it for some light photo editing and emails. Glad I made the switch.

Great laptop for the price point. However, if you are doing things like running virtual machines or video editing, I recommend getting 16gb of RAM. 8gb is just not enough anymore. If apple had this in a 12gb instead of 8gb for the same price it would be a 5/5 stars.

This computer runs so smooth and is totally worth the price. I am in school and the device helps me work efficiently and in a timely manner.
