Best Lightweight Laptop

Replaced an iPad Pro 12.9" with Magic Keyboard. This is lighter and more compact than the iPad it replaces. Battery life is significantly better than the iPad and charges at 65W vs 30W, so it's faster to get a quick boost in battery. The new Apple M2 is crazy fast even in base 8GB form, I run a lot of chrome tabs, large Excel files and PowerPoints with zero lag or loss. Highly recommend.

2022 MacBook Air 13.6 M2

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.13.6 M2 vs MacBook Air 2020 is much improvement . 1080p camera is crisp and the sound is great , much the same design as the pros with speakers coming from underneath the screen on the hinge . Passive cooling is holding up to long use but not under heavy loads if doing something intense on the machine put a cooling mat underneath to help with the air flow . But the M2 is fast and good as the 13.3 MacBook Pro .Really stats are same and better than my 13.3 MacBook Pro M2 , but this one is for my wife.

Apple’s most entry level laptop is probably the most bang for your buck machine out there. Probably better built than most laptops at twice this price point. Fantastic speed, incredible battery life.

I was a surface pro user for years and wasn’t sure about switching but I’m so glad I did! I’m an iPhone user so it made sense. One of my favorite things on this is the fingerprint login. It’s amazing! Just put my finger down and it will put my user name and password on certain websites. Super lightweight and the battery life is WAY better than the surface pro.

She was a little scared of the "MAC" at first but after the first 2 weeks she was a pro. I didn't worry about virus etc. As a dad I loved the "Find my Mac" feature. Not that I was tracking her or anything, it just eased my mine knowing that if need be I could track my daughter and this investment. I recommend this to anyone looking to purchase a great computer.

Very fast with insane boot times. One thing many people want from Apple is a touch screen and I agree with that. If it had a touch screen that could be used with the Apple Pencil would pretty much make a perfect laptop. The battery life is amazing too. NEEDS MORE PORTS THAN JUST USB-C. Biggest flaw. But great!
