I'm really impressed with the M2 chip. With the MBP, the fans would turn on and things would lag a lot. This runs like a dream and I have yet to do anything to make it lag or hiccup, and I'm about 3 weeks into owning it. Great price too!

I used to work on a different laptop, and it was terrible. But once I got a MacBook, everything became fast - uploading, exporting, importing - everything was fast. It has been a great experience for me.

I only did that because I will be doing some iPhone programming. For almost any other type of application, I would recommend that the M2 will serve you just fine. The build quality and the battery life are superb.
