I wish they wouldn't be so stingy to this level on the specs, but the proof is in the pudding. Would love it if Apple would at least give us an awkward jump of base memory on new models. Like, if they can't go 16GB on the base model. Maybe they could at least go 10GB base model and 20GB on the up model and so on. I think this would also signal to the users that this is indeed a quite different animal than Windows laptops. I am particularly delighted that I got my Air M2 on sale.
