Any macbook with the apple silicon technology is going to have better battery life and performance than your average windows laptop thats within the same price point.

We did end up cracking the screen but got it fixed for like $100 with apple care. I think something must have been under when we closed it. Used it for gaming, school work, and other general work and no performance issues at all.

It looks super cool and the screen is SO clear. I can use it all day and the battery doesn't even die. It's perfect for schoolwork and watching videos. Totally love it!

I was a little scared to move from a Pro to an Air, but I think this computer gave me everything I needed. I'm a student but I don't do much strenuous work on there, and it's been holding up well. Excited for hopefully a few years with this one.

I also love getting a good deal on a slightly older one knowing it will more than meet all of my needs. Very happy with this one.

Poor tech service

The transfer of info from my old computer was incomplete and the tech didn't know how to retrieve some of the info and told me to come back when there was someone more familiar with this product. This was not convenient so I called Apple and they helped with some of the issues. .

No, I would not recommend this to a friend Great. But 8gb is defintely not enough
