    I have been using M1 MacBook Air for last 2 years, I got nice upgrade with better display and higher CPU power. The keyboard is definitely improved and display is far better than M1 MacBook Air. 8GB RAM is sufficient for home related work, if I needed to do more powerful work like video editing, I would have gone for 16 GB.

    Perfect if you travel and need something smaller, made the mistake of thinking it would be good for class at the time. Needed something bigger. Worked pretty good but the keys on the keyboard didn’t seem to sit right anymore. Apple isn’t a good brand for fixing it yourself and don’t really make it user friendly for repairs.

    I'm not a big Apple fan because of their anti-consumer practice like denying the right to repair but even with that being said, you can't go wrong with the M2 Macbook Air for school and basic tasks such as emailing and browsing the web. Not once have I had troubles unlike many of the Windows laptops I've tried. The fanless design means no dust buildups and for my usage, it stays quite cool.
